As a Print Key Account Executive in the vertical and enterprise category you will be part of a team responsible for accelerating growth in the print & promotional product space. You will also be responsible for managing and selling to businesses that are complex in nature. In addition, you will also be responsible for strengthening existing Staples print relationships which will lead to additional revenue for Staples and commission for you. Join our Print & Marketing and help ensure our customers are getting the service, products and support they need to succeed.
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for driving approximately $2.5MM+ in annual sales revenue.
Establish, build, and expand relationships with existing and potential customers at multiple levels in the organization.
Navigate regional and national purchasing agreements to sell print into multiple levels of the organizations.
Responsible for scheduling and attending face-to-face presentations with high level decision makers.
Use a consultative selling method to identify customer needs and develop a value-added proposition.
Work collaboratively with print sourcing to assure accurate, timely, and professional delivery of customer's products.
Implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin objectives through new/expanded program development and growth in assigned accounts.
Partner with Staples Business Advantage Sales team to sell print services to large commercials and enterprise sized customers.
Utilize Staples CRM system on a consistent daily basis to self-manage selling activity, contacts, deals, strategies, reporting, and communications.

Essential Functions
Provide an exceptional customer shopping experience by ensuring both the in store and online customer are always the #1 priority
Service the customer in a helpful and friendly manner including POS transactions, loyalty enrollment, and helping them to find what they are looking for

Communicate with OVM or CSX on any merchandise or system issues
Adhere to Asset Protection and inventory control and compliance procedures
Ensure that shortage prevention initiatives are executed

The Sales Consultant's primary responsibility is outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows. Although sales efforts and incidental activities may take place at a customer's home or through virtual channels, a Sales Consultant will spend the majority of their working time traveling and away from a dedicated office environment.
Sales Consultants will travel to customers' homes to make sales calls, assess customer needs, make individually-tailored product recommendations, develop and negotiate customized price quotes, present warranty information and financial options that meet the customer's needs, and maintain/drive profitability. The Sales Consultant will also complete required sales contracts and paperwork, and take measurements using industry-standard methods to ensure orders meet required installation specifications.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for proactively soliciting and acquiring new customers inside assigned THD stores and during industry events (such as Home Shows). To drive sales and increase the pipeline of potential customers, a Sales Consultant will travel to their assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and bring awareness to HDIS programs.
