Job Overview
The MaintenanceSupervisor is responsible for the Day-to-Day operations of the Maintenance Department and team; including management of the response to all emergency and urgent work in the current week; determining the available hours in future weeks to create the "scheduling bucket"; and completing the scheduled work in the current week. This position is also responsible for the technicians and the assignment of their scheduled tasks or work orders.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Support and participate in established best practices through the Management System initiatives to include ISO and KORE Standards
* Support Key Business Indicators as defined by local leadership and Maintenance System Requirements
* Provide continued technical and proactive system-based training that supports "Best in Class" Customer Service, improved Asset Reliability, and reduced unscheduled Line downtime as a direct result of maintenance planning and scheduling deficiencies
* Incorporate the Continuous Improvement Process and Root Cause Analysis methods toward improving asset reliability and sustaining a proactive Maintenance Environment
* Manage and track both scheduled and emergency work through direct reports
* Schedule and provide technical, safety, and system-related training, while providing strong leadership in the areas of technical competencies, scheduling and planning of maintenance, and Parts Room management
* Work closely with the Risk Management Team on the CCCI Contractor Management Policy
* Support all Quality and Food Safety initiatives
* Manage smaller in-house and capital projects from the scheduling of Contractor, Vendor, and Production related projects to the project's financial impact on the plants' various costs centers or Capital Budgeting Process
* Supervise, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines
* Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training
* Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus
* Embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Possess a strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers, PLC Networking, Hydraulics, Electrical, and Beverage Equipment Operations and repair
* Possess the ability to manage both in-house and capital projects from the scheduling of Contractor, Vendor, and Production related projects to the projects financial impact on the plants' various costs centers or Capital Budgeting Process
* A flexible work schedule will require weekend and holiday hours, to support consumer demand, capital, and non-capital projects
* Equipment noise is elevated requiring the use of hearing protection
* Some outside work may be required to support facility maintenance needs including extreme heat or cold external temperatures
Minimum Qualifications
* 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school
* Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school
* 5+ years of work experience in a Food Processing, Beverage, Dairy, or Brewing Industry
* Direct experience working in a Proactive Maintenance System environment is preferred
* Possessing a 2-year degree in a technical field such as engineering or equivalent
* Trade Schooling is preferred
* Direct work experience troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems and equipment

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage maintenance teams across multiple sites and shifts to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Oversee all aspects of material handling systems, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality support.
Continuously improve maintenance processes to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Apply working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with electric-powered industrial truck equipment (Crown, Raymond preferred).
Manage and maintain emergency power generation, fire protection, and security systems.
Recommend strategies for space utilization and resource allocation across new and existing facilities.
Plan and oversee facility improvements, expansions, and renovations to meet operational and safety standards.
Navigate permitting processes and ensure compliance with local ordinances and municipal codes.
Develop and manage capital and operating budgets.
Select and oversee vendors, contractors, and equipment providers to ensure quality and cost control.
Recruit, train, and lead a team of maintenance managers, supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
Conduct performance evaluations, foster professional growth, and build leadership capacity for future expansion.
Ensure full compliance with safety, health, environmental, and governmental regulations.
Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including equipment failures, power outages, and natural disasters.
Experience with maintenance scheduling and planning software (Micromain experience a plus).
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements & Attendance
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, as needed to support DC off shift operations and work with MHE Vendors on Upgrades and Implementations.
Operate effectively in a non-climate-controlled environment.
On-call status 24hrs/day to support DC operations.
Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and safety rules governing professional staff behavior.
Office is based in Katy, TX corporate office with travel as needed to company distribution centers and third-party vendor sites within the USA.

A bit more about what you'll do...
With minimal guidance, troubleshoots and performs most (Generalist) maintenance and repairs on a variety of building systems and appliances, or all repairs on specific systems (Specialist), including HVAC, plumbing, structural, and electrical.
With minimal direction, and in a professional manner, complete resident-requested repairs and service and preventive maintenance tasks.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to residents and team members regarding planned and completed tasks.
Understand and follow local and corporate company Standard Operating Procedures.
Understand and follow safe work practices for all trades, including but not limited to: Lockout Tagout, Electrical Safety, and Confined Space Entry, use of hazardous chemicals, and use of Personal Protective Equipment, Ladder Safety, and working from Elevated Surfaces.
Typical independent assignments include (as appropriate to Generalist or Specialty): Troubleshoot, repair, or replace HVAC equipment and controls; install, repair, and replace all plumbing fixtures, piping, and systems; troubleshoot, replace, and install new electrical fixtures, switches, breakers, and receptacles; Prepare and finish all interior and exterior surfaces; move, install, repair, replace all household appliances; Install, repair, and replace drywall, counters, and cabinetry; all landscaping tasks; Operate and repair all pool equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
