V) WORK SCHEDULE: This is a Max Part-Time hourly (20-24hrs/week), professional position with schedule dependent upon tasks needed for the day/week. Flexibility of hours will be required, including special events and occasional week nights and weekends to support the Gallery operations and Development Team. VI) EDUCATION AND SKILLS: The Gallery Associate should possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (art related degree preferred) and a minimum of two years experience with works of art and related product lines. Knowledge of the current and changing art trends is preferred. Knowledge of framing and matting pieces of art is preferred. The Gallery Associate must be a mature professional who is capable of proving leadership to Team Members and Artists. The Gallery Associate shall organize time and events related to managing the business and be comfortable networking and speaking with community businesses, private donors, funders, legislators, art institutes and the general public.
