GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
The AIP Coordinator is responsible for tracking all patient's in the AIP program. They will assist in obtaining authorizations for all
upcoming procedures, services, etc. The Coordinator is required to correspond with internal staff as well as attorney firms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review patient accounts for accuracy and completeness.
Flag accounts that require discussions with the attorney and/or patient.
Communicate with Check-In / Check-Out staff regarding patient balance issues.
Review, print, provide and be able to explain patient itemized statements as requested.
Obtain authorizations for appointments including upcoming diagnostics, surgeries, injections, physical therapy and
procedures.
Respond to telephone calls from internal staff, patients, attorneys and case managers.
Communicate verbally and in writing regarding AIP Department protocols and policies.
Maintain spreadsheets of all patients that are part of the AIP program.
Responsible for all other assignments as directed by the Case Manager.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
BA/BS Preferred.
EXPERIENCE
One year of medical billing or medical office experience in physician office or hospital environment.
Customer service experience required.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of medical billing and related functions and tasks.
Knowledge of large physician group operation and clinic policies.
Knowledge of AIP processes and requirements.
Knowledge of payer specific requirements.
Knowledge of authorization and verification processes.
SKILLS
Skill in the billing and authorization process.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Essential Functions
Schedule clinic appointments including consultations and follow-up visits using CPS/GE Centricity and Scheduling Assistant.
Collect and update patient demographic, insurance, and medical information.
Verify insurance eligibility at the time of scheduling.
Process referrals through the referral system, schedule patients, and import documents into charts.
Answer and resolve incoming calls, triage messages, and escalate concerns when needed.
Communicate with referring providers to ensure patients are fully prepared for appointments.
Collaborate daily with referral coordinators to enhance the patient experience.
Maintain confidentiality of health records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Responsible for the daily operation of the spine center as well as providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Assists the physicians with coordinating pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides general nursing care to patients in the clinic. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance
with nursing standards.
Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatment
and examination of patients.
Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians. Dispenses medication
as directed. Educates patient/family about procedures and medications.
Ensures appointment preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Screens patients for appropriation
information.
Maintains/reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
Starts IV's for sedation and non-sedation patients as well as monitors patients receiving IV conscious sedation in a safe and
effective manner.
Interacts with patients and customers daily to resolve patient issues and concerns.
Works in partnership with the physicians, physician assistants and back office staff to provide excellent customer service.
Assists the practice manager with staffing, assigning work areas and shifts and acts as the liaison between The CORE
Institute and partnering vendors in relation to procedure/clinical operations.
Collaborates with surgeons, surgery schedulers and medical assistants to make accommodations for the use of the Spine
Center for special procedures.
Responsible for the ordering, receiving, logging and inventory of all narcotic medications.
Assists the practice manager in placing office supply and medical supply orders as well as helping with inventory
management.
Leads staff to efficiently direct patient flow throughout the clinic. Assist front office staff as needed with checking in and out
patients. Assists M.A.'s as needed with rooming patients, procedure room turnover, patient mobility assistance and intake
of medical history.
Assists the Practice Manager with clinic operations and audits.
In conjunction with the practice manager will train and orient new employees.
Shall lead on-going quality monitoring of competencies of staff and assist in training and educations of all staff.
Assists the practice manager in coordinating employee evaluations and administering corrective actions.
Assists practice manager with supervision of all clinic staff and is the primary contact person for all front and back office
staff.
Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in the recovery of patient's post procedures.
Demonstrates clinical expertise and professionalism when responding to emergency situations.
Maintains privacy, confidentiality and integrity of patient and organizational data.

EDUCATION
RN degree, BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one-year professional nursing experience, clinic and pain experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.
Completes and signs Patient Screening form and explains the procedure to the patient.
Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the coach and during the exam.
Maintains technical competency through continued education.
Administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.
Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
Provide images to the facility in the desired site format.
Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Facilitates communication between the patient and the provider during patient care: o Collect and shares pertinent information with the provider o Receives and acts on directives from the provider
Responsible for preparing the patient for visit with the provider. Duties include but are not limited to, rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, pulling up radiology images, removing the dressing, procedure set-up, injection prep, accurate data entry into EMR.
Responsible for completing tasks associated with Company initiatives such as PROs, Quality Payment Programs, etc.
Maintains exam room standards. Rooms should be restocked at the end of each clinic day. Rooms and tables should be cleaned as needed during the clinic and at the end of each day.
Monitor biohazard and sharps containers and replace them as needed.
Assist the provider in preparing patient prescriptions and completing medical and patient forms (i.e. work release, FMLA, etc.).
Retrieves and responds to voicemails within 24 business hours and documents actions in EMR.
Prepares patient electronic charts for clinic visits after the date of service.
Verify any outstanding testing results are in EMR, confirm the appropriateness of the patient to the provider (body part and/or insurance), note imaging, DME, or casting needed after provider visit on the date of service.
Scans clinical documents into EMR.
Print clinic schedules on the morning of the date of service.
Ensures patient receives education as indicated by the provider.
Manages EMR desktops of assigned providers promptly.
Create and promote a positive patient experience
Maintain HIPAA compliant environment
Maintain clean workspace

GENERAL SUMMARY
Greet patients in a professional, friendly manner and explain procedures clearly.
Produce high-quality radiographs to support accurate diagnoses.
Maintain and update patient EMRs; provide copies of images upon request.
Ensure images are uploaded correctly into PACS.
Perform equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance; arrange repairs when needed.
Monitor radiation safety, protecting patients and staff at all times.
Maintain proper levels of radiology supplies and follow departmental safety protocols.
Essential Functions
Deliver safe, efficient diagnostic imaging services.
Follow infection-control, OSHA, and departmental policies to maintain a safe environment.
Assist with patient positioning and transfers to capture optimal images.
Support smooth clinic operations by balancing quality standards with patient care needs.
Handle occasional high-stress situations requiring quick, accurate decisions.
Travel intermittently between clinic locations, as needed.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma/GED required.
Certification: BMO certification (required); BLS certification; state licensure.
Experience: 1+ year in urgent care or patient care setting preferred; EMR knowledge helpful.
Knowledge: Medical terminology, diagnostic imaging practices, anatomy, radiographic safety, and equipment handling.
Skills: Strong customer service, attention to detail, communication, and analytical abilities.

Essential Functions
Accurately chart patient encounters: history, exams, diagnostics, labs, treatment plans, prescriptions, and discharge instructions.
Interact professionally with patients, providers, and team members.
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and HOPCo policies.
Support patient care and care coordination as needed.
Assist with training and mentoring other scribes and staff.
Demonstrate ongoing competency and commitment to excellence.
Requirements
Completion of a Medical Assistant/Scribe program or 1 year orthopedic scribe experience
• CNA, Pre-Med students or equivalent healthcare certification are encouraged to apply.
• 2 years of healthcare or back-office experience (orthopedics a plus!)
• Tech-savvy, detail-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinic.
