POSITION SUMMARY
In collaboration with the Vice President - Academic Affairs & Chief Academic Officer, President, Provost, and other senior team members, the Senior Dean will play a pivotal role in refining the vision for culinary education at the CIA. Serving as the principal spokesperson for the college on food, beverage, and hospitality matters, the Senior Dean will provide oversight and guidance to the deans responsible for all food, beverage and hospitality programming, as well as the branch campus associate deans. The Senior Dean will cultivate faculty capacity in applied knowledge creation, and will partner with Advancement to secure fundraising and gift-in-kind support for food-focused programming. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Academic Leadership and Strategy
* Oversee academic excellence across the schools, providing academic leadership and vision for curriculum design, innovation, and integration. Ensure all programs maintain the highest standards in curriculum design, learning outcomes, faculty performance, and student experience.
* Develop and align long-term academic vision by leading the strategic development and evolution of each School's mission in alignment with the CIA's broader strategic pillars: global cuisine leadership, food and beverage innovation, health and sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

REQUIRED QUALIFCATIONS
Education:
* Master's degree required; or Associate degree in culinary, baking, hospitality or beverage combined with significant work experience in lieu of a Master's degree.
Experience:
* Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience at a top culinary, hospitality, or higher education institution, or ten (10) years of progressive experience in executive roles in elite food, beverage or hospitality companies.
* Minimum of five (5) years leading a cross-functional team.
* Strong record of academic achievement, or executive-level professional experience. Recognized leader in the culinary or hospitality education community.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Security Officer supports the college in the protection of life and property on the campus and delivers necessary services to assist in the efficient conduct of administrative business. POSITION SUMMARY
Culinary Institute of America faculty members are responsible for teaching students, developing curriculum, conducting research, and organizing conferences and retreats to a high standard of professionalism. The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to preparing lesson plans, teaching, and evaluating students, preparing and revising course guides and other educational materials, and developing the intellectual property of the college. POSITION SUMMARY
The Advancement Officer - Corporate Engagement and Student Initiatives is a key member of the Culinary Institute of America's (CIA's) Advancement Corporate Relations (CR) team. This hybrid role bridges fundraising for student-centered initiatives with corporate engagement strategy. As a member of a dynamic team of dedicated, goal-oriented fundraising professionals, this role manages a highly integrated approach to the strategic and financial goals of the Institute. The Officer will lead sponsorship and donor cultivation for signature student events such as the college's Annual Student Activities Program (ASAP), Student Cook-Off's, Student & Campus Living activities and programs, while also managing select corporate accounts and supporting key advancement events and partnerships. Fundraising & Donor Engagement
* Lead and drive fundraising for student-focused initiatives across three CIA campuses (NY, CA, TX) to generate $820,000K+ annually.
* Manage a donor portfolio of up to 75+ corporate and a few individual supporters with a secondary fundraising goal of $75K+, generating gifts for various Corporate Relations initiatives.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Safety Technology Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the functionality of all fire alarms, security, access control, carbon monoxide detection, and fire suppression systems located at the Hyde Park campus. The Safety Technology Coordinator will also assist with the plan for future expansion, ensuring that all new and existing fire alarm and security systems are fully tested and in compliance with all required codes.

POSITION SUMMARY

* Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
* Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
PREFFERED SKILLS
* Experience with the servicing of air-cooled chillers.
* Experience with the installation and servicing of water source heat pumps and geothermal systems.
* Knowledge of Building Automated/Management Controls (BAS/BMS).
* Knowledge of control wiring and systems, alarms, HVAC wiring and variable frequency drives (VFD).
WORKING CONDITIONS
* Must be able to work overtime including long hours, nights, and weekends as required in the event of an emergency situation.
* Under special circumstances may be required to temporarily work on different shifts or off hours and report to various supervisors based upon the needs of the Institute.
* Work is physically demanding and often requires heavy lifting of material weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and climbing to heights above twenty (20) feet.
* Ability to work in extreme temperatures, either hot or cold; temperatures can have a wide range including from -10 F to +120 F. Required to work outdoors, sometimes in extreme winter temperatures, in electrical rooms, crawl spaces and confined areas.
* Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands to grasp, handle and feel materials, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and taste or smell.
* Must be able to supply initial set of hand tools and meter.
* Must be able to supply initial pair of safety toe work shoe/boot.
