Northwestern University and Evanston's Only Daily News Source Since 1881

28, 1881, the two competitors had merged and put out the first edition of the Northwestern.

1923

In 1923 the Students Publishing Co. of Northwestern University, a not-for-profit organization, was incorporated, and the company set up a Board of Publications to oversee its operations.
