Required Skills & Required Experience
Must have more than 15 years' of executive leadership/experience working directly for FEMA or with a FEMA Partner (e.g., state emergency management).

AECOM has a position available for Senior Construction Safety Professionals in Herndon, VA. In this role, the person will be working at a client's site full-time and act as an owner's representative at a large data center campus construction site. As the owner's representative and along with the construction general contractor, this person will review and collaborate on their safety programs to promote a culture of safety across the sites.
The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:
+ Monitor and advise on client's EHS culture and support implementation of EHS procedures and regulatory requirements at the site.
+ Independently develops, implements, and maintains safety and health programs, systems, and procedures.

+ Drafts all necessary reports to Federal, State, and local agencies, as well as client stakeholders.

Proposal Summary
MSI is pursuing a five-year contract to provide research and support services to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB). DOL/ILAB is commissioning research support services to produce high-quality, timely Congressional and Executive Order reports on forced labor, child labor, and other labor policy priorities. Our team will deliver rigorous data analysis, policy research, technical editing, and communications support, while also strengthening ILAB's capacity through training, stakeholder engagement, and specialized supply chain and trade-related studies.
Position Summary
To augment the core project team, MSI requires a pool of short-term technical experts to support the delivery of work on forced labor, child labor, and other adjacent research issues. Specifically, this SOW solicits expressions of interest and qualifications for the following three roles:
• Child Labor & Forced Labor Specialist
• Human Trafficking Specialist
• Supply Chain Specialist
Short-term experts will be engaged on an as-needed basis-typically for assignments of 2-8 weeks each-to provide deep technical input, rapid desk reviews, methodological guidance, and in-country advisory support.
Responsibilities:
Technical Review & Methodology
• Review and advise on research instruments (questionnaires, interview guides, sampling protocols) for inclusion of child-labor, forced-labor, trafficking, or supply-chain tracing elements.

Purpose
The Director of Information Security leads the enterprise security function to protect information assets and manage risk across the organization. Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
* Report to the CIO/CISO and contribute to executive-level decision making on security matters.
* Provide strategic leadership over the information security function, including technical operations, GRC, and incident response.

* Build and execute a multi-year information security roadmap aligned with business goals and evolving threat landscapes.

* Oversee technical security operations, including endpoint security (EDR/XDR & MDM), vulnerability management, logging and detection (SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, UEBA, CSPM/ASM), data protection (DLP, classification, encryption, backup and governance), application and DevSecOps (SAST/DAST, SBOM, secrets, API and container security), and cloud/infrastructure security (CWPP, IaC scanning, and hybrid/cloud hardening).
* Develop and implement comprehensive GRC programs addressing risk management, compliance standards(e.g., NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO, CIS), customer requirements, audit readiness, policy management, and vendor risk.
* Direct incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
* Oversee business continuity and resilience initiatives such as DR automation, tabletop exercises, and cross-team crisis readiness.
* Establish and maintain security metrics, KPIs, and reporting processes.
* Develop and maintain the information security budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources.
* Stay informed of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve security posture.
* Support internal and external security audits and regulatory inquiries.
* Oversee development and delivery of training and awareness programs to promote a security-conscious workforce.

This position will be part of Stantec's Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of water resource related design and analysis projects, including flood mitigation, stormwater management, Green Infrastructure, and stream restoration design and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, mapping and flood risk communication. Your Key Responsibilities
* Work under minimal supervision with broad guidelines, to assign, review, and evaluate the performance of new project orders; directing interdisciplinary project teams as needed to ensure project needs are met.
* Strong project leadership to help ensure conformance with Stantec's Project Management Framework (PMF).
* Develop stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control designs tasks for civil, transportation, and environmental projects, including closed/open drainage systems, environmental site design, ponds, stream restoration, flood studies, and E&SC controls.
* Prepare complete submission packages, supporting calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties; effectively facilitate the agency review/approval process.
* Process construction permits through local permitting agencies.
* Oversee and direct flood studies and lead supporting tasks, including hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and floodplain mapping.
* Perform hydrologic and hydraulic surface water modeling with 1D and 2D HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-SSP, USGS tools, and others in support of flood risk studies and other water resources projects
* Support Stantec's Flood Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) projects or similar flood study projects.
* Develop Conditional Letters of Map Revisions (CLOMRs), Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs), and No-Rise Analyses.
* Work on multiple projects and be responsible for projects of average complexity/size.
* May serve as Engineer-of-Record (EOR) on project tasks.
* Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
* Participate in client project requirement meetings and value analysis and cost estimating.
* Collaborate with other team members while working on projects; complete tasks and delegate specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate.
* Collaborate with project managers, and senior engineers to develop and manage the project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
* Ensure strict compliance with contractual requirements.
* Coordinate with Stantec leadership and client contacts routinely to explore future opportunities, budget planning, and staff resourcing needs.
* Develop fee proposals for a variety of sizes and complexities, working with other task managers as needed to address all technical disciplines.
* Perform quality reviews of other engineer's work.
* Conduct peer and quality reviews on applicable projects.
* Mentor/supervise junior staff and promote career development.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Must have a high attention to detail, strength in time management and organizational skills, and good written and oral communication.
* Strong project management credentials, including but not limited to scoping, establishing schedules, project plan development, and routine tracking/reporting throughout project implementation.
* Proven experience successfully executing technical design tasks and driving project delivery.
* Skill in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project).
* Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley CAD programs including MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, and ProjectWise.
* Experience with plan approval and permitting in Montgomery County, Prince Georges County, and/or the District of Columbia.
* Proven capabilities in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM/XPSWMM (or other modeling software). 2D modeling experience preferred.
* Proven capabilities in ESRI ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcMap.
* Ability to travel locally on short notice (in and around DC Metro area).
