Performs a variety of other duties as a member of the TDC team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:1.Expertise in safety principles, asepsis, sterile technique and universal precautions. Applies and shares knowledge with others.2.Perform all scrub technologist functions for all cases done in surgery center.3.Ability to perform surgical technologist functions according to AORN Recommended Practices and Center Policies and Procedures.4.Knowledge of, and ability to, disinfect, clean and sterilize, surgery center instruments, equipment, and supplies utilizing the appropriate processing equipment, such as ultrasonic cleaner, washer-disinfector, Steris and Autoclaves.5.Ability to prioritize and have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.6.Ability to work effectively in stressful situations.7.Set-up required operative fields, arranging instrumentation, equipment and supplies appropriately according to the Surgery Center's policies and case preference cards.8.Prepare for scheduled procedures by picking cases, utilizing surgeon's preference cards.
