Responsibilities: * Compliance: Completing compliance monitoring, permitting, and reporting for operations sites. Act as subject matter expert regarding protocols and compliance with relevant regulations and policies including CWA, RCRA, CAA, PDW, ISO, TAOC, and other internal and external requirements. * Field Work: Provide support to and troubleshoot all environmental sampling and analysis for operations sites including meteorological stations, air monitoring, and permitting NPDES monitoring. * Analysis: Read, interpret, and remain current on governmental regulations, especially any monitoring requirements. * Project Management: Implement and manage projects to enhance sampling and analysis. * Implement Systems: Develop and implement systems to manage programs or day-to-day activities of the workforce across all environmental functions. * Conduct waste stream characterization, annual/biennial reporting, exception reporting, waste reduction program, shipments, data entry, inspections, training implementation and program management, labeling, manifest tracking, and filing. * Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health, and safety) policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance. * If supervising, maintain EHS (environmental, health, and safety) compliance by holding direct reports accountable for adherence to EHS policies, procedures, and best practices; evaluating employee EHS performance via field observations and document review; reporting and correcting unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and providing feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance. * Other duties as assigned.
