Pros of working at The Dow Chemical Company

The actual Job itself appealed to me. We were required to work mostly autonomously. I was able to own my job each shift. This and some of the people. Also, the company has one of the best benefits packages in the industry.

Cons of working at The Dow Chemical Company

The company's Managment and how they promote their managers. The system leads to a short-term mentality. The managers are only concerned about the short term and not the long-term effects on culture of sustainability.

The Dow Chemical Company benefits

The Job itself. I enjoyed the work and solving problems. Especially the ability to work independently and as a part of a small natural work group. It was sometimes a lot like family.
