The actual Job itself appealed to me. We were required to work mostly autonomously. I was able to own my job each shift. This and some of the people. Also, the company has one of the best benefits packages in the industry.
The company's Managment and how they promote their managers. The system leads to a short-term mentality. The managers are only concerned about the short term and not the long-term effects on culture of sustainability.
The Job itself. I enjoyed the work and solving problems. Especially the ability to work independently and as a part of a small natural work group. It was sometimes a lot like family.

I don't know much about my CEO, but my upper level management always takes the time to care about my life and assist me in any way possible.
Would advise they don't take so much stock in someones educational status if that person proves to be an excellent, loyal, hard working employee

Work-life balance is great. Pay is reasonable, but not the best. Company culture and management is great.
