ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will work under the tutelage of the IT team and assists with a wide range of projects related to maintaining technology services. This includes providing direct technical assistance and support to the Dutra workforce for network, hardware and software issues. Duties include installing and maintaining computer systems software and hardware on desktops and laptops, resolving internet and network access issues, providing printer support, meeting with staff to provide one-on-one technical assistance as requested, providing training to staff on software and hardware use, determining root causes of computer/software/network malfunctions through evaluation and testing and break-fix resolution via modifications, repair, or vendor support assistance. To a lesser extent, there are some cybersecurity hardening and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance initiatives. The goal of the internship is to augment the knowledge acquired in the classroom and apply it in a professional setting.
