We are looking for Lead Project Schedulers to support our client, a major U.S. utility to help in delivering schedules for some of the largest and most complex capital projects in the electric sector. In this Scheduler role, you will contribute to maintaining the integrity and performance of project schedules across a multibillion‑dollar capital portfolio. You will collaborate closely with project directors, project managers, engineers, and project controls teams to develop, update, and monitor detailed schedules, forecasts, and progress metrics. Your work strengthens visibility, coordination, and on‑time delivery for a portfolio of 10-20 major electric infrastructure projects valued between $8-$10 billion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules across a portfolio of transmission line, distribution line and substation projects using predefined templates (from initiation through closeout) aligned to scope, WBS, milestones, and regulatory/contract constraints; establish baseline and coding standards across the portfolio.
+ Perform routine project updates (weekly/biweekly/monthly), run CPM calculations, and conduct critical path, float, variance, and trend analyses; produce look‑ahead reports, and milestone tracking.
+ Track schedule performance with earned value metrics (SPI/CPI) and contribute to recovery plans when milestones are at risk; publish portfolio and project control reports for leadership and clients.
+ Identify schedule risks, run what‑if scenarios and propose mitigations; support change management processes and schedule QA/QC checks.
+ Lead/participate in weekly schedule review meetings with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders; communicate conflicts and recommend actions clearly and promptly.
+ Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to embed Project Controls processes into Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and contracts, ensuring alignment of scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting requirements from the outset
+ Review and assess bidders' proposals for adherence to Project Controls criteria-such as WBS/CBS alignment, schedule baselines, and change management protocols-and make recommendations based on compliance.
+ Serve as the Project Controls liaison during contract award and execution phases, verifying that awarded contractors implement agreed Project Controls processes (schedule updates, EVM metrics, delay logs) and escalate any deviations for corrective action.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred.
+ 8+ years of work experience in Project Controls, Project Management, or Scheduling required.
+ Proficiency in Primavera P6 required.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel-VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
+ Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), float analysis, and schedule risk analysis.
+ Demonstrated experience working with contracts/RFP's a plus

+ Provide significant input to the solar, battery, and generator designs to optimize performance, reliability, and sustainability for each customer site
+ Lead on the full life-cycle of BESS and DER project design, guiding projects from conceptual design through to full system design.
+ Interface with equipment and technology vendors.
+ Use AutoCAD in order to carry out permit ready and IFC deliverables. Including but not limited to: Conduit/Cabling schedules, stub-up details, and required clearances as state by NEC/IEEE/NFPA standards

**Benefits & Salary:**
+ This position pays between $85,000 and $120,000 annually and is an exempt position.
+ Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

**Join ENTRUST Solutions Group as a Transmission Line Project Manager and become a vital part of our dynamic team!** In this role, you will lead and execute complex engineering projects related to transmission lines, ensuring they meet client and internal performance indicators. Your focus will be on maintaining schedule and budget performance, enhancing project profitability, and fostering strong client relationships and satisfaction. As a Transmission Line Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to supervise and mentor other team members, including Project Engineers, and Designers. Collaboration is at the heart of our work, and you will work closely with peers, senior technical Leads, and engineers to achieve project goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate fee revenue forecasts and ensuring that our engineering practices align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and technical innovations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Plan, organize, supervise and otherwise manage the engineering and design of transmission line facilities.
+ Lead and manage the execution of transmission line projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV.
+ Develop project proposals, estimates, and execution plans.
+ Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative project solutions.
+ Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and design teams.
+ Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
+ Clearly define performance expectations. Review and reward job performance within the organization to align individual performance with business goals.
+ Develop employee skills as required for workload, help employees to reach their potential and establish plans to set and achieve challenging career goals.
+ Travel as necessary for client meetings and site visits.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited university.
+ Professional Engineering license is preferred.
+ PMP certification is a plus.
+ Minimum of 5 years of transmission line work experience.
+ Proficiency in PLS software.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Ability to lead projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
