The Dentist is the lead clinician in charge of all aspects of dental care services. Working from a solutions-oriented approach, the Dentist monitors performance to ensure dental services and operations are in compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing agencies. Responsibilities include: Participates as a key member of the organization's Management Team (MT) and works as part of the team on integrating clinical and non-clinical aspects of FCHC's operations and services. Provides high-quality, patient-centered care according to standards and benchmarks set by the organization, licensing boards, and funding agencies. Completes all patient records, notes, and billing documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) on the day of service to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The Program Coordinator of The Den for Grieving Kids oversees all operations of The Den-Evening and School-Based Programming-and will facilitate grief and bereavement-related support groups for The Den and The Center for HOPE. The Den for Grieving Kids provides a safe, caring place for children, teens and families to explore their feelings about the loss of a parent, sibling or other family member and begin the journey toward healing. Children and their families participate in free groups led by professionals and trained volunteer facilitators. The Den also offers support groups at area elementary, middle and high schools. The Credentialing & Compliance Specialist is responsible for the ongoing management, monitoring, and verification of credentials for medical, dental, behavioral health, human service, and educational staff. Family Centers | Darien, CT | Full-Time, In-Person Organization Overview Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization providing health, education, and human services across Fairfield County. With more than 300 professionals and over 500 trained volunteers, we deliver innovative, community-centered programs that support more than 26,000 individuals each year. Program Overview The Center for HOPE is a trusted regional resource for grief, bereavement, trauma, and critical illness support. Services include individual, group, and family counseling; support groups; trauma response services; and community education. Key programs include The Den for Grieving Kids and Trauma Response Services . The Role The Manager of the Center for HOPE oversees the clinical, operational, and programmatic functions of the Center. This role provides leadership for The Den for Grieving Kids and Trauma Response programs, supervises staff, interns, and volunteers, maintains a small clinical caseload, and represents Family Centers in the community. Program Leadership & Operations Oversee all Center for HOPE operations, including The Den for Grieving Kids and Trauma Response Services, ensuring high-quality, responsive programming. Manage budgets, data, reporting, fundraising support, and compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements; participate in QA/QI and leadership initiatives. Clinical & Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise and support the Program Coordinator, clinical staff, MSW interns, and volunteers, serving as a clinical and professional role model. Maintain a small clinical caseload and participate in weekly supervision, case conferences, and agency trainings. The Den for Grieving Kids Coordinate and facilitate evening and school-based grief support groups, special events, and family intakes, serving as a primary point of contact for Den families. Maintain and enhance children's grief curriculum; screen and train volunteers; and serve as liaison to Lower Fairfield County schools. Trauma Response & Community Engagement Oversee the Trauma Response Team and participate in on-site trauma response and post-trauma services as needed. Represent Family Centers through community education, presentations, trainings, and collaboration with local partners and task forces. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling or related degree. Active Connecticut license as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist, Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in mental health, grief, trauma, or community program development. Experience working with underserved populations. Prior supervisory and leadership experience or demonstrated capacity. Direct clinical experience and comfort level with grief, bereavement, and trauma as primary treatment focus. Ability or demonstrated capacity to oversee multiple programs and sites efficiently. Comfort with public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences and stakeholders. Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, electronic health records, and telehealth platforms.
