    The Program Coordinator of The Den for Grieving Kids oversees all operations of The Den-Evening and School-Based Programming-and will facilitate grief and bereavement-related support groups for The Den and The Center for HOPE. The Den for Grieving Kids provides a safe, caring place for children, teens and families to explore their feelings about the loss of a parent, sibling or other family member and begin the journey toward healing. Children and their families participate in free groups led by professionals and trained volunteer facilitators. The Den also offers support groups at area elementary, middle and high schools. The Center for HOPE, located in Darien, is one of the area's most respected and trusted resources for bereavement and critical illness support, providing comprehensive services for adults and children living with an illness, grieving a loss, or coping with a life-altering circumstance. Services include individual, group and family counseling, support groups and community education programs. Trauma Response Our team of trauma response specialists provides on-site counseling and crisis debriefing services to schools, organizations, or businesses to assist with traumatic or crisis situations, for example, suicide, homicide, employee or student deaths/accidents or workplace violence or terrorism. Supervision: Weekly supervision provided by the Den Manager (LCSW). Conducts intakes for new families joining evening support groups. Coordinates the services and events pertaining to the Den's twice-monthly evening support groups and facilitates evening Den sessions. Warm point of contact for Den families seeking referrals or additional services at Family Centers. Provides initial screening for prospective volunteers (evening and school). Builds on existing children's curriculum and manages the related materials and supplies (evening and school). School Den: Den liaison to schools in Lower Fairfield County; works with school contacts to initiate Den groups at schools and ensure success for the duration of the group. Orchestrates quarterly trainings/support meetings for School-Den volunteers. Additional Responsibilities: Task and/or Clinical supervisor for Den MSW Interns. Acts as a role model for volunteers, interns, colleagues, and community partners in leading/participating in groups, modeling self-awareness, and contributing to group goals. Identifies programmatic issues for discussion with the Sr. Director of Behavioral Health and/or the Den Manager. Attends agency in-service trainings and weekly case-conferences. This leadership role supports both the clinical development of staff and the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. The Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision, carry a reduced caseload, and support the growth and operational excellence of the department. This position is in-person full time and based out of either Family Centers Stamford or Greenwich location. Key Responsibilities · Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff and interns in alignment with licensing board requirements and agency policies. · Review and approve documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries for accuracy, timeliness, and clinical appropriateness. · Offer consultation on complex clinical cases, including crisis intervention and mandated reporting. · Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff. · Monitor clinician caseloads and ensure that staff meet productivity expectations. · Support the Senior Director in developing and implementing policies and procedures to meet agency and regulatory standards. · Contribute to Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives, including chart reviews, incident response reviews, and identification of staff training needs and workflow updates. · Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and internal policies. · Maintain a reduced caseload, providing individual, family, and group therapy. · Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based treatment services. · Cover the agency's after-hours crisis line, as needed. · Attend and participate in departmental and agency meetings, including team meetings, supervisors' meetings, and case conferences. · Lead workshops in the community on topics related to mental health. · Serve on Family Centers' Trauma Response Team and support the community following a crisis. · Represent Family Centers at community-based meetings and committees.
