LA GRANGE — St Mark’s Medical Center lost $6.2 million in 2017, a financial blow from which the hospital — the only one that serves Fayette and Lee counties — has yet to recover.
That entity is Heartland Health System, which was owned by investors from Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky until it was acquired by Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, effective July 1, 2019.
