In January 1911, the bank bought a property near the Eighth Street and Wyoming Avenue corner where the Brace home had been.
A Remington and Sherman vault built in Philadelphia was installed March 12, 1912, and the new bank opened April 1, 1912.
After the Federal Reserve System began operating in 1916, member banks like the Wyoming National Bank in Casper could increase their capacity and stability by borrowing from the system.
Then the war ended in November 1918, and the government stopped buying guns, uniforms, trucks, food and fuel to supply its million-man army.
