Required Qualifications: Must hold a US Coast Guard Captains License Near Coastal Captain's License required Boating experience in and around boats (operating boats) Pass a background check and drug screen Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record Be at least 21 years of age Highly effective communications skills and friendly customer service High attention to detail Availability to regularly work weekdays, weekends and holidays Ability to adhere to all safety policies Preferred Qualifications: Previous instructor experience Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets, electronics knowledge & utilization (Smartphone / tablet) Maintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude Ability to be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised Working Conditions: Work outdoors and in various weather conditions for an extended period of time Work in a marina setting on docks that may be fixed or floating Work near and on the water Safely move on, off and in vessels during various tide and weather conditions The anticipated pay for this position is $18 hourly. You'll be baking most all The Forts cakes, breads, pumpkin walnut muffins, crème Brule, chocolate ganache dessert, and more from our recipes. Additionally, you'll be preping for the kitchen vegetables, guacamole and more as needed by the chefs. We can accommodate flexible schedules and this is a daytime job with weekends off. Join our talented Fort Chefs and cooks, approximately 15-20 kitchen staff, who put love in the food for 200-300 guests each night. These award-winning recipes are published in the Fort cookbook. We also would love to tap into your creativity as well, and offer culinary contests for our cooks in the fall and spring to create new, innovative recipes that may be put on the menu. The Fort sells more buffalo entrees than any other independent restaurant, and is known for our game meats, seafood, vegetarian options, and home made desserts.
