This role will assist in DOT compliance, driver and truck schedules, and vehicle maintenance while driving operational efficiencies across procurement, logistics, and transportation workflows. This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Nashville, TN. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Manage events exceeding 300,000 lbs. of freight or more. + Complete pre-show workbook to include but not limited to target plan, labor and equipment planning, and freight production schedule. + Supervise dock labor at the show site by assigning qualified personnel to efficiently perform all duties in accordance with standard practices. Assist in the training of all dock labor. + Provide direction to all subordinates to ensure a safe work environment. Conduct safety and service meetings on a regular basis. + Interact with the Facility Manager for the assigned show to ensure all facility rules and regulations are adhered to. + Determine the needs and request equipment, tools and labor required to produce each show event. Ensure the location of all rigging and machinery. Produce accurate payroll forms, timecards or timekeeping system for all labor worked on shows. + Complete a post-show recap after the show is completed. + Ensure job cost is kept to a minimum without sacrificing services to all customers. + Ensure all equipment is returned from show site to warehouse. + Perform other duties as required. **Education & Experience** + High School diploma or GED required.
