**Summary**
The Senior HCM SystemsEngineer configures across modules, stewards integrations, and leads workstreams through sprints and releases. Ensures scalable solutions and data quality across HCM and downstream systems. Cross-functional with a depth emphasis on at least one platform.
This position will support our Technology Services team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Configure objects/fields/associations, business rules, workflows, RBP, and picklists aligned to standards.
- Maintain and improve integrations across HCM and adjacent systems; manage mappings, file/API jobs, monitoring dashboards, and error handling.
- Define validated import templates and guardrails for mass changes tied to configuration.
- Author test cases; execute release/regression testing across modules; update runbooks and knowledge articles.
- Troubleshoot systemic data/config issues and implement durable fixes (not recurring patches).
- Optimize approval flows and role structures; align with security policies.
- Coordinate change windows and stakeholder communications; write user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Owns configuration and technical integration across the HCM landscape; does not perform routine operational data entry/maintenance.
- Provides Tier-2/3 functional support; Tier-1 operational tickets handled by HR operations.
**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
- 3-5 years in HCM with hands-on configuration in one or more: SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos/UKG WFM, or SAP ECC (HR).
- Understanding of cross-module and downstream dependencies; familiarity with IDoc/data structures and integration patterns.
- Experience with interface monitoring, file/API job orchestration, and error recovery.
- Agile team experience and strong technical documentation skills.

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Information System Security Engineer / Solutions Architect who will also serve as the Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) for key cybersecurity systems supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role is ideal for someone with deep technical engineering skills, cloud and DevSecOps experience. This individual will also lead teams to develop and implement technical solutions to remediate vulnerabilities and other complex cybersecurity challenges. Candidates will have a solutions‑oriented mindset to help the VA problem‑solve complex cybersecurity and IT challenges. The candidates should also be well‑versed with facilitating working sessions and have the ability to distill complex concepts into non‑technical/common language.

Key Responsibilities Cybersecurity Engineering & Architecture (Primary)
Analyze complex technical findings and determine necessary resources needed to solve problem‑sets across multiple cybersecurity and technical domains
Partner with technical teams to develop and implement technical solutions
Design, build, and deploy secure cloud‑native architectures and infrastructure components for VA information systems
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning, policy enforcement, and remediation tools
Implement secure infrastructure as code/policy as code using tools such as Terraform/CloudFormation, including writing and implementing PaC scripts
Align security architectures with Federal Zero Trust strategy, VA directives, and OMB policies

Provide engineering and technical analysis on behalf of Agency Authorizing Officials (AOs) for System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments, Security Controls Traceability Matrices (SCTMs), and POA&Ms

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of security engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud architecture experience
Expertise in securing platforms hosted in AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
Strong experience with NIST RMF, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust architecture implementation
Hands‑on skills in IaC tools like Terraform and CI/CD tools such as GitLab/Jenkins, with ability to adopt new technologies if procured by the agency
Experience with network isolation tools such as Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Juniper Mist Network Access Control (NAC) solutions or comparable
Demonstrated experience securing modern applications, APIs, and automated infrastructure
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to explain complex, technical information in easily understood terms; ability to brief Senior VA leadership regularly
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Prior VA experience supporting VA OIS or major cybersecurity initiatives

SENIOR ENGINEER (Water Resources)

Dokken Engineering delivers innovative engineering solutions for local, state, and federally funded projects throughout the state of California. We are seeking a Senior Engineer/Water Resources for our Folsom HQ office. You will be providing a variety of professional civil engineering and hydraulics tasks. You will be performing engineering work and exercising independent judgment.
Essential Functions:
•Lead preparation of engineering analyses for potable water, sewer, recycled water, drainage,flood control, and agricultural irrigation systems
•Lead the analysis and preparation of erosion control mitigation
•Lead in the preparation of construction stormwater documents
•Prepare and check quantity calculations
•Oversee associate and assistant staff work on projects
•Lead projects associated with water resources design and analyses
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
•Coordination with internal/external disciplines, utility companies, subconsultants and clients
•Attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and address action items
•Perform quality control for reports/projects
•Lead marketing efforts occasionally
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
•California Professional Civil Engineer license
•Minimum of 7 years of progressive water resources experience
•CA driver's license
Other Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Strong working knowledge of hydraulic design software such as HEC-RAS, StormCAD, Innovyzesoftware, PondPack, CulvertMaster, WSPG, ArcGIS, and other similar programs
•Strong understanding of basic and more complex water resources principles
•Stormwater Practitioner/Designer (QSP/D) certification a plus
•Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
•Strong technical writing and analytical skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
SENIOR ENGINEER (Water Resources)
•Experience with roadway design and CAD software such as Microstation, In-Roads, or AutoCAD
•Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Physical Requirements:
•Will sit, stand or walk for the entire duration of a workday
•Will use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a regular basis
•Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
•Work mostly indoors. Occasionally work outdoors in remote or urban environments
•Usually work near others, such as in a shared office space
•Occasionally wear protective gear, such as a hard hat
•Sometimes work in noisy or distracting work environments
•Occasionally travel to a project site by automobile and/or airplane
•Occasionally work from a vehicle while at project sites
FLSA Status: Full-Time Exempt
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $120,000+ commensurate with qualifications and experience
