The Galloway School company history timeline
In 1969, Elliot Galloway leased the building from Fulton County and formed the present private school.
In 1969, Elliott Galloway, his wife Kitty and his friend Ross Arnold founded The Galloway School.

In 1990, Elliott stepped down as the headmaster of The Galloway School, but until his death he retained a small office where he loved to sit and discuss ideas or lend books from his vast library.
The Galloway School opened its doors in 1993 to 19 students in the Clear Lake area.
The current school facility, located at 3200 W. Bay Area Boulevard in Friendswood, Texas, was built in 2005 to accommodate students PK-3 through 8th grade.
She supported the School’s opening and ongoing success until her passing on March 17, 2015.
