Primarily responsible to ensure that the health and welfare of the students is maintained. Provides mental health care including diagnosis, psychiatric evaluations and testing, and medication management to the children in residential placement. The Child Psychiatrist reports to the Program Director and supervises work performed by contracted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners or other contracted Psychiatrists. ROP-benefits-and-perks-2 What you will do: Group Supervisors have the responsibility for the development of the daily living program within each cottage. Also, Group Supervisors will be responsible for the training and supervision of the Youth Care Workers within their cottage. Group supervisors provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the youth. Group supervisors work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan. Group supervisors perform standard level paraprofessional work in every aspect of the program operations. This position reports to the Director of Group Living. To be considered you should: Be at least 21 years of age ~ A bachelor's degree in social work or psychology & two years of professional experience working with children one year of which must have been in a residential facility for children OR a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years professional experience working with children with at least 2 years in a residential facility for children OR a combination of education and experience working with children as approved by the department ~ 1-Year Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. What you will do: As the Speech Therapist/Speech Pathologist here at Childhelp, you will be responsible for organizing & conducting the Speech Services to assess, diagnose & provide therapeutic interventions to address speech and language disorders in our residents. You will work closely with the education and clinical department to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each resident's specific needs and goals. You will need to be able to maintain accurate and up to date records of a child's IEP's, treatment plans, assessments and progress notes. You would also provide direct therapy services to children in one-on-one and group settings as well as Implement evidence-based interventions to address articulation, fluency, voice disorders, language delays, and social communication difficulties. To be considered you should: Be at least 21 years of age ~ Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university ~ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) ~ State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
