The Glen company history timeline

1900

Built in the 1900’s as a private residence, Traditions at the Glen has been an IBM Homestead and a destination for notable figures of the 20th century including Dwight D. Eisenhower, Eleanor Roosevelt, Bing Crosby, Wernher von Braun and noted golf greats like Ben Hogan, Patty Berg and Sam Snead.

1975

Glen Taylor bought a wedding service business for $2 million in 1975 and turned it into Taylor Corp., a printing firm with over $2 billion in sales.

2016

In 2016, he sold 5% of his stake in both basketball teams to Lizhang Jiang, the NBA's first Chinese minority owner.
