ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Accounts Payable processing for all facilities; Accounts Receivable posting of deposits; Gift Shop cash drawer; Maintain office supplies
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Accounts Payable for all facilities, including but not limited to:
a. Input all invoices into software program
b. Maintain W-9s and Certificates of Insurance for all vendors
c. Issue checks as directed
d. Match invoices to checks
e. File checks and invoices by facility
f. Review vendor statements and research unpaid invoices
g. Close Accounts Payable on a monthly basis
h. Prepare sales & use tax for all facilities
i. Prepare 1099 forms at year end
2. Assist with billing for VHC, Stiles, The Cottages, and Redbrook:
a. Make bank deposits using Express Deposit software
b. Post System deposits in financial software
c. Reconcile payment of and bill out Third-party Beauty and Barbershop transactions.
d. Reconcile and bill out medical inventory items to correct payor type
3. Balance cash drawer for gift shop on a weekly basis
Maintain deposit records/reconciliation
4. Maintain office supplies and postage meter
a. Maintain inventory of print cartridges for all printers
b. Order labels and ink cartridges for postage machine
c. Coordinate payment with Receptionist when postage machine balance is replenished
d. Responsible for bulk mail and business mail accounts with Post Office.
5. Other duties:
a. Kitchen duties as assigned
b. Assist CFO and Office Manager with various projects.
Other related projects, duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary.

This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of MDS assessments, Care Area Assessments (CAAs), and resident care plans in compliance with federal and state regulations. Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all MDS assessments, CAAs, and care plans in accordance with the current RAI Manual.
Initiate and complete MDS assessments for non-Medicare residents, including resident interviews, hands-on assessments, medical record reviews, and staff interviews across all shifts.
Coordinate interdisciplinary input from nursing, dietary, social services, therapy, and activities.
Develop and update baseline and comprehensive care plans based on resident needs, risks, preferences, and advanced directives.
Schedule, lead, and follow up on care plan conferences; address resident and family concerns.
Track assessment due dates and coordinate with therapy and Medicare staff to ensure compliance and timely screenings.
Ensure all required supporting documentation is present to support MDS coding, quality measures, and reimbursement.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Administrator on Quality Measures, Quality Indicators, Case Mix Index, and performance improvement initiatives.
Participate in discharge planning, interdisciplinary rounds, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and coordinate plans of care with the Medical Director.
Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and investigations.
Serve as backup for facility submissions and assist Medicare staff during high census periods.
Provide clinical support, staff guidance, and education as needed.
Function as a household nurse leader or assist in clinical emergencies when required.
RN MDS Coordinators will serve as the RN Assessment Coordinator. LPN MDS Coordinators will work under the supervision of the DON serving as RN Assessment Coordinator.
Qualifications
Current Louisiana RN or LPN license (required)
Long-term care and MDS experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Knowledge of MDS, CAAs, care planning, Quality Measures, and Case Mix Index

BRP is accredited through College of American Pathologists (CAP) and is committed to high standards and best practices in biobanking, histology, research pathology, and imaging. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to enable clinical research projects and to foster collaboration with multiple research laboratories.
The successful research pathology candidate will be primarily involved in designing and building patient cohorts for research projects, pathology annotation, and generating reports for various research projects. The role involves customer-focused support for internal and external research users, providing technical expertise, guidance, and training. The individual is expected to work closely with histology, imaging, and biobanking teams within BRP and is expected to contribute to field development through effective project management and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises and performs a variety of research projects for multiple clients that will be different for each project based on the type of disease model and/or pathological conditions.
Leads research projects, plans tasks, assigns work, monitors work, identifies issues/problems, and makes plans to resolve problems. Provides expertise and guidance in designing the cohort for research projects.

Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor of Science in biology, biochemistry, or related science or engineering specialization is required. A master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
Experience & Skills:
Eight (8) years of direct experience in human pathology and, preferably, in other preclinical models. Experience in human pathology annotation, cohort building.
Work experience in multiple disease models.
Experimental design, research methodology, and data analysis.
Writes good documentation and standard operating procedures.
Knowledge of pathology annotation and documentation.
Ability to apply advanced knowledge of Pathology methods and tools.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and attention to detail. Project management experience in a multi-disciplinary setting is highly desirable.
Must have superior interpersonal, communication, and organization skills and the ability to work across company disciplines and functional units, and computer application experience.

ASSIGNED SHIFT: Shift is normally an 8-hour shift (2 days 7AM- 3PM & 2 days 3PM-11PM)
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
Answer telephone, screen calls and route appropriately.
Provide information for visitors, residents, staff, and callers and refer to appropriate resources if not able to provide requested information.
Monitor residents call lights and page accordingly.
Provide limited resident information to family members, physicians per Glen policy.
Greeting and directing visitors, family, physicians, and other visiting healthcare professionals.
Provide communication, documentation, directional and related assistance in emergency situations as assigned by Nursing Director or Assistant Administrator.
Be familiar with Emergency Preparedness Plan and specifically the Receptionists role.
Maintain desk in neat, orderly manner.
Maintain resident pass sign out/in book
Maintain private caregiver sign in/out log.
Record staff call-ins and route to appropriate supervisors. Assist coordinators with staffing.
Monitor fire panel and take action per policy/procedure.
Monitor resident call system, page appropriately and follow up for completed staff response as directed by policy/procedure.
Documentation and data entry to include assigned entries into resident records, completing and posting 24 hour staffing report, organizing folders for doctors runs, and maintaining the Households resident roster.
Complete and route Status Change Notifications.
Copy face sheet from resident record when resident transfers to another facility/hospital.
Coordinate transportation for resident to medical appointments, etc. and maintain the appointment calendar. Assist Assistant Administrator in preparing appointment packets.
Assists with medical record maintenance as requested. Tasks may include chart order, filing, preparation of chart for new admissions, turning charts, cleaning of medical record binders, document scanning.
Sell meal tickets and maintain cash box.
Mailings as assigned, such as care conference notifications.
Responsible for scanning medical records.
Responsible for scheduling resident medical appointments and transportation that occur during your shift.
Recording of brief charges that occur during your shift.
Printing face sheets to keep the evacuation binder updated on a daily basis.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

The Allied Health School (AHS) Pharm Tech Educator is responsible for the development and implementation of curriculum designed to prepare students for successful careers in various allied health fields. This role involves the development of educational programs that accounts for diverse learning styles aligned with student demographics and learning methods, revising the curriculum to align with current industry standards ensures course curriculum aligns with accreditation standards and ensures academic excellence and professional readiness in the dynamic healthcare landscape. The AHS Pharm Tech Educator is responsible for ensuring the delivery and teaching of the material as well as maintaining administrative components of education system including grading, reviewing polices & creating testing standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Formulates and revises orientation manuals, course materials, lectures, and tests to ensure curriculum incorporates evidence based practices and meets accreditation and standards as well as medical center expectations. Implements and reviews program policies and procedures in partnership with the AHS Program Director.
Independently develops and teaches introductory and core courses in their area of specialization. Responsible for developing courses for online instruction and multiple technologies while supporting a diverse population of learning needs. Develops learning modules, hands on activities, assessments and multimedia content that address various learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.). Continually assess the effectiveness of instructional methods and adjusts as needed.
Advises and teaches students, leads lab skill demonstrations, practice and testing of students. Provides guidance and support to students to ensure they meet learning objectives and are prepared for professional certification.
Responsible for the planning and oversight of student clinical rotations across CSMC affiliate locations and periodically evaluates the quality, contribution and appropriateness of all clinical preceptors participating in clinical instruction. Directs and advises students on developing research and advancing knowledge in their field of specialty through in-person teaching and training. Maintains ongoing communication with medical center staff as to clinical schedules and status of student experience.
Serves on educational committees and participates in the broader development of the Allied Health School and disciplinary committees.
Responsible for the organization, administration, review & maintenance of performance and educational records on all students within the AHS clinical program.
In collaboration with the AHS Program Director may assists with recruiting new students, screening applications, and interviewing potential students for the training program.
Performs other education or technical related duties as assigned by the AHS Pharm Tech Program Director or the clinical or technical department leadership team.
Department-Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining skills in Preparing compounded sterile and/or non-sterile products according to P&P and SOPs, which include aseptic technique, if applicable: garbing, label preparation, control records/master formulation record and other record-keeping requirements, storage, handling, and waste management, transport, visual inspection, area and equipment cleaning and maintenance, proper beyond use dating labeling, documents quality control/assurance activities, and complete required recertifications.
Appropriately receives ordered medications and supplies. Assures items received have a verifiable EPIC scannable barcode prior to placing in stock. Ensures received items are reconciled with packing slips and that stat orders, satellite orders and Pyxis orders are filled accurately and timely.
Responsible for maintaining skills in Performing labeling, packaging, obtaining medication and getting it ready for distribution and utilizes dispense prep to accurately prepare doses as required.
Responsible for maintaining skills in performing controlled substance management accurately and according to regulation and accurately documents preparation on investigational drug product log sheets, if applicable.
Acts as a liaison in medication-related problem solving for patient care units, including but not limited to narcotic discrepancies, automated dispensing cabinet/cart discrepancies and drug storage issues.
Actively identifies methods and approaches to simplify work processes, decrease medication waste, and increase the quality of services provided.
Participates in the education and training of pharmacy staff including pharmacy technician externs.
Qualifications
