What You'll Do!
As a Cannabis Wholesale Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving wholesale revenue, building and maintaining strong relationships with licensed retail partners, and representing Shaka and Springtime products in the marketplace. This role combines sales outreach, account management, territory growth, order coordination, and accounts receivable support, while ensuring all wholesale transactions comply with state regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with licensed wholesale buyers and retail partners within an assigned territory.
Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale accounts, handling inquiries, orders, follow-ups, payment status, and ongoing account support.
Represent and promote assigned brands, including Shaka and Springtime, ensuring consistent brand presence and education in the market.
Schedule and execute pop-up events with retail partners following product deliveries.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within the territory.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Coordinate wholesale orders with internal teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and timely delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with order planning and fulfillment as needed.
Communicate pricing, availability, and lead times clearly and professionally to wholesale customers.
Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and provide compliance documentation to wholesale buyers as required.
Ensure all wholesale sales activities comply with state and local cannabis regulations.
Collaborate with inventory, production, and compliance teams to align sales efforts with available supply.
Collect payments from wholesale accounts and assist with accounts receivable (AR) management, including following up on outstanding invoices and supporting timely resolution of payment issues.
Provide product education, training, and ongoing support to retail partners.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates using company systems (e.g., Dutchie or CRM platforms).
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support sales strategy.
Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, dispensary visits, and in-store promotions.
Maintain accurate records of accounts, communications, sales activity, and transactions.
Education & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the cannabis or related industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and a proactive approach to sales.
Reliable transportation for in-person sales visits, as needed.
A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to the company's mission and values.
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.

The Role
