Qualifications
A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program is required; minimum associate degree or equivalent as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Respiratory Therapists must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all procedures, indications, contraindications and hazards involved in respiratory care, as well as knowledge of equipment utilized in their department. Demonstrates the ability and knowledge required to utilize computers for patient documentation and data gathering for quality care. Must complete orientations, competency validations, and other in-servicing as required by the department and hospital.
Must have current Respiratory Therapy licensure in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.
Must have Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials as attained through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and maintain active status according to NBRC credentialing requirements.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Must obtain site-specific specialty credential(s) such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), etc.

Counsel, educate, and develop resources and materials for the education of patients on families on prescribed therapeutic diets.

Seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician Anesthesiology to provide essential coverage in Bismarck, ND. In this role, you will oversee a medical direction practice model with no more than 1:4 CRNA oversight. You will be responsible for regional anesthesia procedures, labor and delivery coverage, and all cardiac cases. Familiarity with regional blocks such as adductor, interscalene, popliteal, and supraclavicular is preferred. Shifts typically include 16-hour weekday days and 24-hour weekend shifts, with scope for on-call duties from home for emergent cardiac cases. The schedule requires covering one week (7 days) per month starting April 2026, with flexibility for additional call coverage as you become acquainted with the facility.
Required Skills:
MD or DO Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology
US medical license and current DEA in good standing
Experience with regional nerve blocks (adductor, interscalene, popliteal, supraclavicular)
Ability to work independently within a hospital setting
Strong understanding of anesthesia protocols for diverse patient populations
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in a locum or hospital-based anesthesiology role
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Experience managing cardiac cases and labor/delivery anesthesia
Advanced certification or additional subspecialty training
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution

Job Summary

Qualifications
A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program is required; minimum associate degree or equivalent as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Respiratory Therapists must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all procedures, indications, contraindications and hazards involved in respiratory care, as well as knowledge of equipment utilized in their department. Demonstrates the ability and knowledge required to utilize computers for patient documentation and data gathering for quality care. Must complete orientations, competency validations, and other in-servicing as required by the department and hospital.
Must have current Respiratory Therapy licensure in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.
Must have Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials as attained through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and maintain active status according to NBRC credentialing requirements.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Must obtain site-specific specialty credential(s) such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), etc.
