The Goodman Group company history timeline
In 1975, Harold entered HVAC manufacturing with the formation of Goodman Manufacturing Company, L.P. The company began as a maker of flexible air duct and plastic blade registers.
He quickly stepped in to purchase the shuttering company’s machinery, transported it to a large warehouse in Houston, and in 1982, Goodman entered the market as a manufacturer of central air conditioners and heat pumps.
After a series of mergers, the organisation became known as the Macquarie Goodman Group in 2005, at the time the largest industrial property trust on the ASX and fourth largest in the ASX 200 property index.
As of June 2008, the group had 371 properties under management and 97 developments.”
In August 2012, the Company completed the implementation of the internal restructure of the Group to add Goodman Logistics (HK) Limited to the existing Goodman Group stapled security.”
In 2012, Goodman was purchased by Daikin Industries, Ltd and became a member of Daikin Group.
