This RIDE-approved classroom, already established and welcoming students, is designed with a maximum capacity of six children to ensure focused, personalized, and individualized learning experiences.
As the teacher, you will lead a team supported by an exceptional 2:3 staff-to-student ratio. Our staff members hold Bachelor's-level training in behavior management and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will also benefit from onsite collaboration with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Occupational Therapist (OT), and Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to student success.

Position Description:
Coordinate student programs including planning goals, designing instructional programs, scheduling and monitoring programs; complete/monitor completion of documents for staff and students; effectively arrange physical environment to foster maximum learning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field (master's degree preferred).
RI Department of Education certification in Severe/Profound Special Education.
One -year experience as a special education teacher preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

CMT Certified Med Tech
Part Time Evenings - 22.5 hours per week

Responsibilities of a Certified Med Tech
Provide our residents with daily care in accordance with our established policies and procedures and assure that the highest degree of quality care will be always maintained.
Administers oral and external medications to residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse.
Provides medications according to individual resident needs and abilities.
Accurately reports and documents the resident's symptoms, responses and status.
Records the administration of medication on the Resident's medication sheet at the time the medication is given.
Takes and records vital signs upon administration of medications when required.
Qualifications for a Certified Med Tech
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Nursing Assistant Trainee Certification.
Medication Technician Certification.
Must demonstrate competency to perform medication administration in accordance with state regulations.
BCI required.

Be a member of a self-managed and providing care for our elders including cooking, laundry, housekeeping and personal care.
