Position Overview This position is a great opportunity for a physically active job in the beautiful gardens of our retail spaces. You will expand your knowledge of perennials, annuals, shrubs, and trees as you maintain and care for the plants on the sales floor and assist customers in picking the right plant for the right place. Responsibilities Can Include Welcome and assist customers in finding the appropriate plants for their site, through knowledge of plant characteristics, cultural needs, and basic design principles. Maintain health of plants through all weather conditions. Help design and maintain retail plant displays. Process shipments from suppliers. Must be able to load, move, and unload trays of plants from carts: heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required. Cashiering Help maintain cleanliness of property. Hours/Seasons Part to full-time seasonal hours starting as early as mid to late March through October. Holidays, weekends, and evenings may be required in peak season and as needed the remainder of the year. Shifts are generally scheduled for full days.
