Responsibilities:

The Manager approves regional Captain, NavMate, Mate, and Third Mate schedules optimizing mariner skills, experience, and development. The Manager is a relief Captain and sails aboard company vessels regularly to assess and mentor marine officers, ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards, and maintain professional proficiency. Managers are proactive managers and prudent decision-makers continually reducing risk and standardizing execution, keeping fleet operations and crew readiness ahead of planning timelines and operational schedules.
Marine Operations Managers are present aboard ships regularly to guide, develop, and assess the performance of Captains, Navigation Mates, Mates, Third Mates, and Senior Deckhands to ensure the highest standard of marine operations, vessel condition, and guest experience. The Marine Operations Manager is accountable for the marine crew performance and fleet standardization of the shipboard marine operations inclusive of helm-gangway watch standing, exterior cleaning, vessel security rounds, launch operations, deck system operation and maintenance, and guest logistic support.
Managers are team-oriented leaders and meticulous professionals in service to our guests, as supportive examples to our crews, and as professional partners within the maritime industry. Marine Operations Managers coordinate with Regional Hotel Operations Managers and Regional Port Engineers. Marine Operations Managers report to the Director of Marine Operations.

About The Opportunity
This role is responsible for developing strategic product marketing plans for our Corporate Brand/s working closely with key senior stakeholders, regional teams, product, Brand Marketing & PR/Communications, Customer Success, Account Management, Operations, and Sales teams. This role will craft the product/solution market facing messaging and positioning, to help drive new customer sales, product adoption and ultimately retention of our customers.
The role helps to guide insight led product strategy & communicates effectively the market positioning, product messaging & competitive differentiation of our solutions to our target audiences.
A key focus of the role is to manage the process of bringing solutions to market, which includes crafting the product positioning and messaging, GTM planning with associated activities, and ensuring all relevant prospects & existing clients fully understand the offerings. This role also aims to drive the demand and usage of solutions, and to ensure that the voice of the customer is being utilised within the full product lifecycle.
By creating & leveraging market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement, this role will be the expert in understanding the client/customer's personas, their needs and how these can be crucial in buying criteria - which can guide in the formulation of the product roadmap.
Critical to the success of the role will be how effective the hired candidate will be in transferring knowledge to, and effortlessly collaborating with, teams around the business including; Brand Marketing & Comms, Sales Teams, Account Management, Customer Success, Product Managers, Subject Matter Owners, Implementation & Operations and stakeholders, along with External Partners & Clients in order to effectively launch new products and specification/feature releases of existing services.

Experience & Qualifications
7+ years experience in mid - senior product marketing / or FCTG product/technology
It is preferred for the candidate to have worked for innovative technology organisation, SaaS background.
A strong understanding of the FCTG business model, including product and/or technology areas is highly valued.
Experience in product lifecycle/customer lifecycle management and new product development methodologies
Ideally demonstrate experience in customer lifecycle marketing through digital touchpoints and marketing automation.

Post-Launch Reviews: Ensure that post-launch audits or evaluations are conducted - gathering performance data, guest feedback, and operational observations after a new product/experience goes live.

Position Overview
The Manager of Events & Competition Operations is responsible for organizing, scheduling, and managing athletic competitions for school teams traveling to Florida. A core part of this role is interviewing each traveling team's head coach to understand needs for games, practices, and clinics, and using that information to design balanced and competitive schedules.
Important: This job involves a lot of scheduling and logistics. Expect roughly desk-based work (building schedules, coordinating facilities/officials, maintaining systems and communications) and on-site operations (~12 weeks per year) executing games, practices, and clinics.
This position requires close collaboration with sales, account management, and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience from initial scheduling through the team's complete trip.
Our event seasons occur during three main timeframes each year:
Spring: March - April
Fall: Late August - Early September
Winter: December - Early January
During these seasons, you'll be onsite supporting events. In the preparation months leading up to events, you will have occasional flex hours and evening commitments, including Zoom kickoff calls with clients. While these may take place outside of a standard 9-5, the time counts toward your normal workday. Importantly, you will never be required to work more than 8 hours in a day outside of live event weeks.

Responsibilities:
Safety and Security of the passengers, crew and vessel.
Safe vessel operations, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
Prudent vessel maneuvering, docking, undocking, and anchoring.
Comprehensive daily inspection of all vessel interior and exterior spaces.
Supervision and Development of Mates, Engineers, and Deckhands.
Oversight of Hotel Officers and Service Crew ensuring five-star guest service.
Captain hospitality greetings at the gangway, guest safety announcements, and special dinner events.
Administrative log keeping, reports, and communications.
Leadership of safe, secure, clean, and comfortable onboard environment for passengers and crew.
Typical March-November Season: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off or 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off.
Qualifications:
U.S. Coast Guard Master's license: minimum 100T, desired 1600T or greater.
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Captain experience on coastal and river waterways: min 2yrs, desired 5yrs with Z-drive experience.
Excellent communication skills and team-building skills.
Pre-employment drug test and continual participation in random testing.

Remove used/unnecessary plates while guests are still seated at the table
Remove extra place settings at the table or provide any additional settings as needed
Prepare tables for the next round of service by removing all plates and glasses
Sanitize the table and surrounding area for its next turn
Reset place settings: complete with silverware, water glasses, and bread plate, etc.
Restock and assist with maintenance of expo/servers' stations, glass washing area, etc.
Empty trash containers and dirty dish receptacles
Assist with refilling ice for bar service station
Skills
