The SAP Security Lead is responsible for providing SAP security support and consulting for multiple SAP implementation projects and multiple support service customers. The SAP Security Lead will provide consulting, management, business, and technical support in SAP security, GRC, and Audit support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
o Help build and enhance security roles with good understanding of SAP applications, security implementation methodologies, role-based access controls and different applications threats.
o Provide consulting and guidance on internal and external audit and compliance activities with good understanding of concepts of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and GRC type tools.
o Work on security support requests raised by multiple project implementation customers ranging from new security developments, changes, enhancements, troubleshooting, and support.
o Work with customer and company resources to develop security standards and to ensure the success of the security work required by multiple SAP implementation projects and support service customers.
o Provide security migration consulting for system migration projects. Lead a project through all phases of migrating a legacy security solution to a new system installation.
o Provide expertise in the areas of User ID maintenance, Security Role maintenance including the latest techniques for Fiori catalog and Space/Pages maintenance, and Security Role assignment.
o Work closely with all necessary parties involved to ensure success of the security practice including overseeing the quality of deliverables mentoring junior team members.
o Participate in any continuous improvement initiatives on top of existing workload to further improve current processes within the organization
o Managing executive level client relationships

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

o Expertise in SAP Security concepts including Fiori Launchpad Designer and understanding of catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, webdynpros, UI5 apps, PFCG role maintenance, OData services, ICF Services and use of the Fiori Apps Library
o Experience in supporting end to end SAP Security project implementation, security and GRC workshops, testing support, Cutover prep and Hyper care activities.
o Experience in the design and development of SAP security roles and GRC software Admin Support.
o GRC consulting for clients for Risk Analysis, Usage Monitoring, SOD, and Privilege Access
o Cross functional SAP knowledge preferably as an SAP functional/development consultant.
o Security experience in multiple SAP functional modules.
o Ability to identify and communicate issues/risks to the team lead or end user to facilitate timely resolution.
o Previous Managed Services support experience is preferred as well as Project Management experience.
o Ability to multitask, handling multiple tickets with multiple customers and projects and prioritize appropriately
o Interpersonal skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation/ leadership skills (oral and written)
o Ability to work independently, guide clients, understand business processes and work cohesively with project team members.

This person will be an essential member of Gartner's Legal & Compliance (L&C) Transformation and Operations team who is responsible for overseeing key aspects of Legal Operations and driving efficiencies across the following areas: external spend management (e-Billing and invoicing); e-Discovery; and Outside Counsel and vendor partnerships. This Manager role will also lead and motivate a global team of operational specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and enhance our e-Billing and invoicing processes; Leverage our spend management platform for automating processes, driving ease of adoption for our key stakeholders, and reporting and sharing impactful metrics with the business
* Manage our e-Discovery preservation and holds requests, processes, and system to ensure we are appropriately and confidentially handling sensitive data; Provide seamless support to L&C colleagues and business partners when e-Discovery needs arise
* Foster impactful relationships with our approved and preferred Outside Counsel partners and vendors; Effectively manage supplier spend (timekeeper rates included) in line with our mutually agreed upon terms; Proactively partner with L&C matter managers to ensure we are aligned on preferred suppliers and associated spend
* Enhance our information governance approach and strategy as it relates to Legal Operations to ultimately reduce risks and improve operational efficiency; Ensure process documentation across principal responsibilities remains updated and relevant
* Lead and motivate a team of global associates who manage various areas of operational responsibilities; Surface opportunities to cross-train team members to ensure comprehensive knowledge and proper coverage when needed
* Identify and drive process efficiencies and improvements across Legal Operations that simplify and add strategic value to Gartner's way of doing business
* Serve as a champion and change agent who promotes innovation and continuous improvement
* Manage special projects for the VP of L&C Operations and Transformation, as needed
Requirements:
* At least 5+ years of relevant work experience in-house with a large company, law firm, or professional services provider
* Significant hands-on experience with e-Discovery or litigation management, document production, and legal holds and preservation notices
* Experience partnering with outside counsel firms and other legal service suppliers to drive optimal business outcomes
* Working knowledge and understanding of legal technology tools and applications and experience implementing new solutions. Programming experience is a plus.
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including advanced Excel skills
* Effective strategic thinker with the ability and experience to develop, implement and document strategies and execution plans for both short-term and long-term initiatives
* Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders across multiple disciplines
* A demonstrated understanding of how to develop, implement, and enhance processes
* BA preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 84,000 USD - 116,000 USD.
