A paycheck
It's a gamble due to the number of bad managers and the constant shuffling of managers. You could end up with an unethical manager.
If you git a good manager you are lucky.
They don't hide their arrogance.
Managers need to know people's skills and spend less time in meetings. Coworker feedback and self evaluations are useless.
It's low unless you are a job hopper.
Age discrimination exists
I was happy when I had a good manager.

Micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, and no room for promotion or internal movement, call center environment

Great Benefits. Very low expectations and easy to get excellent performance rating.
Low pay. However, if you look at hourly pay for actual work, it is great. Typical day is 1-2 hrs of work 6-7 hrs of meetings at least in IT.
Zero pressure and can do other work which is outside of work.
Remote work, excellent benefits, excellent supervisors
