We are seeking a highly skilled Network Performance Analyst with deep expertise in packet-level traffic analysis and network performance diagnostics. If you live and breathe packet captures, know Wireshark inside and out, and can dissect complex performance issues across distributed networks, we want to hear from you.
You will join a team focused on maintaining optimal network performance across critical infrastructure, using industry-leading tools like Riverbed ARX, NIKSUN, and Gigamon. Your daily work will directly impact the reliability, visibility, and security of enterprise network operations.
This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform advanced packet analysis and deep-dive troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, NIKSUN, and Riverbed ARX.
+ Leverage Gigamon TAPs and visibility infrastructure to monitor and analyze traffic.
+ Proactively identify and resolve latency, throughput, and performance anomalies across network segments.
+ Collaborate with network engineering, security, and application teams to provide root cause analysis and performance improvement recommendations.
+ Develop and maintain performance dashboards, metrics, and documentation of findings.
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in network performance monitoring and packet-level analysis.
+ Expert-level knowledge of Wireshark with demonstrated ability to interpret protocol flows and anomalies.
+ Experience using one or more of the following: Riverbed ARX, NIKSUN, Gigamon infrastructure.
+ Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP/S, VoIP, etc.).
+ Ability to interpret and correlate data across multiple tools and data sources.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

Summary
Under general supervision, supports the rollout of new and revised insurance products by providing model documentation, coordinating filing objections, and owning objections related to product design and modeling impacts. Partners closely with Research/Modeling, Pricing, State Management, and Product Deployment teams to ensure regulatory readiness and successful implementation across multiple lines of business.
Essential Functions:
* Provides GLM and model documentation in support of new and revised insurance product filings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory readiness. This applies to all lines of business.
* Owns and coordinates product filing objections, with primary responsibility for objections related to product structure, rating, and modeling impacts; partners with internal teams to drive timely resolution.
* Supports new product rollouts and post-filing updates, including product modifications required as a result of regulatory feedback or objections.
* Works cross-functionally with Research/Modeling, Pricing, State Management, Legal, and Product Deployment teams to review and refine business requirements associated with filings and objections.
* Works with third party data vendors related to model filing requirements and objections.
* Executes within well-defined projects while operating independently, managing assigned responsibilities end-to-end and escalating issues as appropriate.
* Supports leadership by providing clear analysis, documentation, and recommendations related to filings, objections, and product changes.
* Contributes to process improvement efforts, including the development of automated and standardized approaches to objection handling and model documentation.
* Adheres to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.
* Meets attendance standards at the business location to perform necessary job functions and facilitate collaboration with management and coworkers.

Requirements:

Annual Salary
$75,000.00 - $185,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
