This newly established leadership role is central to advancing Hartford's Digital and Small Specialty Surety business across the Commercial West territory, which includes the Midwest, South Central, Southwest, and Pacific Northwest regions. You will lead the development, marketing, and management of a high-volume, transactional surety portfolio-driving performance, expanding market presence, and shaping the future of this segment.

As the lead marketing underwriter, you will be accountable for the region's book of business and will play a pivotal role in building out a team of underwriters over time. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategy, optimize operations, and deliver measurable growth.
Responsibilities:
+ Territory Leadership: Serve as the lead marketing underwriter for the region, responsible for production, servicing, and strategic oversight of the portfolio.

Investigator! As a SIU Field Investigator, you will conduct investigations of suspected cases of fraud or other illegal activities against the Company, including interviewing, database inquiries, taking statements, and locating sources of information and witnesses. Responsibilities include evaluating information to determine its credibility, referring, and coordinating investigation assignments to outside agencies, and providing training and support to all departments in the claims handling process.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
3+ Years claims adjusting experience, or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience or 4 years prior investigative law enforcement (including military) or relevant fraud industry investigation experience
Experience handling in-person or phone statements from various parties in an investigation in a way that builds GEICO's customer base and promotes customer satisfaction through efficient, accurate, and courteous interactions
Ability to gather a broad range of evidence related to an investigation and draw conclusions based on the information collected to the applicable fraud investigation
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize heavy claim volume workloads and stressful situations

Annual Salary
