This position will provide direct on-site supervision and overall management of commercial construction projects. They will regularly interface with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, Company-assigned project staff, and other interested parties to ensure assigned projects meet all contractual requirements while also exceeding company expectations. Essential Job Functions: Review initial project schedule and monitor/update schedule on a minimum of a bi-weekly basis incorporating project changes and/or delays. Identify schedule slides and correct independently or with the assistance of the Project Manager. Communicate regularly and professionally with all members of the project team including: clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and staff team members to ensure they are informed of relevant project information. Schedule and supervise Hayner Hoyt craft personnel for self-performed work. Assign work, monitor and track productivity, and optimize resources for self-performed work. May involve teaching the assigned tasks to craft team when necessary. Solicit and select suppliers for required materials, equipment, and project supplies based on supplier capabilities, schedule requirements, and cost. Follow up with suppliers as required to ensure all required materials are available to meet project requirements. Confirm on site schedule and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors to ensure they are supplying all required materials and their work product meets project and Company requirements. Review the construction budget (estimate) and effectively manage the project in a manner that completes the project on or under budget. Ensure that all employees and subcontractors on-site perform work in a safe manner, which complies with Hayner Hoyt and OSHA guidelines. Prepare a project-specific safety plan, and solicit and review subcontractor safety plans for their own scopes of work. Conduct project related meetings including but not limited to conducting pre-construction conferences with subcontractors and suppliers, conducting subcontractor meetings, and sending various forms of written correspondence. Maintain an organized, clean, and orderly field office. Create and/or maintain the following project documentation: daily reports, weekly reports, safety checklists, safety meetings, OSHA postings, time-records of assigned staff, purchase orders, meeting minutes, as-built drawings, requests for information, shop drawings, submittals, test reports, and any other necessary project documentation. Perform regular job site inspections to identify potential issues such as safety issues, poor work quality, material availability etc. Instruct staff and comply with all client requirements for site access, material staging, cleanliness etc. Perform hands-on field work as required to meet project or schedule requirements. Minimum Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or (GED) required 2 or 4 year degree in construction technology, construction management, operations management or related field preferred. 5 to 10 years hands-on commercial construction experience including supervisory experience. Prior experience implementing Lean Construction Process highly desired. Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to professionally interact with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and coworkers. Ability to work with and provide direct supervision to vendors, suppliers and staff to meet contractual requirements. Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines. Must have at time of hire and maintain throughout employment a valid NY State driver's license. Ability to work additional hours as required including evening, weekends or overnight travel. Position Description Job Summary: The Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor supports the PARCO leadership, provides technical oversight, and oversees the quality assurance functions of an AASHTO-accredited liquid asphalt laboratory. This role helps ensure that all testing, personnel, equipment, and reporting meet the required standards of accuracy, safety, and compliance with AASHTO R 18, ASTM, and DOT specifications. The QC Lab Supervisor assists in maintaining the laboratory's accreditation status, provides support to internal customers and external agencies, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance testing efficiency, reliability, and technical quality. Proficiency with laboratory equipment, calibration systems, and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
