The Chief Financial & Operations Officer (CFOO) will serve as a key member of the Executive Team, providing strategic leadership across finance, operations, procurement, facilities, and IT.

Key Responsibilities Financial Stewardship
Provide overall financial leadership to ensure the organization's stability and growth.
Oversee all financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and reporting.
Partner with the Controller to ensure timely monthly close, accurate reporting, and strong audit readiness.
Maintain sound internal controls and financial policies in line with nonprofit standards.
Lead scenario planning and financial modeling to support growth initiatives.
Provide Board-level reporting and recommendations that reflect fiscal health and long-term sustainability.
Leadership Development & Coaching
Mentor and coach leaders in finance, operations, procurement, and IT, building confidence, accountability, and professional growth.
Develop emerging professionals who may not yet have advanced degrees or years of leadership experience.
Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Build and strengthen the leadership pipeline to support the organization's sustainability.
Operations, Facilities & Vendor Relations
Oversee operational functions-including facilities, logistics, and vendor management-ensuring efficiency, transparency, and mission alignment.
Provide executive oversight of procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and accountability.
Support process improvements that strengthen organizational effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
Information Technology
Lead IT strategy and infrastructure, including cybersecurity and system performance.
Ensure technology supports both day-to-day operations and future growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
CPA strongly preferred; Master's degree (MBA or related) required if no CPA.
At least 10 years of progressive finance and operations leadership, with 5+ years at the senior leadership level.
Demonstrated nonprofit experience required - this may include professional roles, board service, or significant volunteer leadership.
Proven experience overseeing finance, operations, facilities, procurement, and IT.
Strong mentoring and coaching skills; ability to develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, mission-first leadership style.

This is a full-time, exempt position with an annual salary range of $115,000 - $125,000 , commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide supervision of the residents/ guest, ensuring client and staff safety

Ensure accountability of clients to the facility policies and guidelines
Observe and document any client behavior not adhering to facility guidelines
Assess/ screen incoming clients to determine appropriateness for detox/ overnight and refer if not eligible
Perform client intake and properly document
Properly document any discharges from the facility
Assess and refer clients for completion of detox
Respond to and document any medical situation that occurs within the facility
Monitor and record detox clients' blood pressure every 8 hours
Make medications available to clients in a responsible fashion and properly document
Facilitate and document contraband searches of clients and their rooms
Facilitate and document drug screening of clients
Enforce policies and procedures of the facility
Ensure the facility and grounds are kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct Clinical Services
Provide individual counseling, group therapy, and clinical interventions using evidence-based models such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, Behavioral Modification, and crisis intervention techniques.
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, interviews, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluations for adult clients.
Facilitate IOP groups and structured therapeutic groups as assigned.
Engage families or support systems, when appropriate, to reinforce client recovery goals.
Respond to client crises with de-escalation, stabilization, and safety planning.
Clinical Collaboration
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss client progress, barriers, and clinical recommendations.
Work closely with peer-driven program staff to ensure integrated, wraparound care.
Collaborate with internal departments to align client needs with program expectations and recovery milestones.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete all clinical documentation within 24 hours of client interactions, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with regulatory and billing requirements.
Maintain strict confidentiality, ethical standards, and adherence to federal, state, and professional guidelines.
Professional Development
Participate in required supervision and ongoing professional development.
Maintain current knowledge of best practices in substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health treatment.

Clinician Level 2 (Master's-Level Clinician)
Master's degree in social work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
Active Kentucky licensure: CSW, LPCA, or LCADCA
Must be under board-approved supervision toward independent licensure

Ability to manage a clinical caseload with increasing independence
