This Triage LPN will be responsible for triaging patients for urgent appoinments, routing all prescription refill requests to the correct provider, medication prior authorizations, answering the phone, meeting with pharmaceutical reps, maintaining sapmles, scheduling lunches with reps, and covering the Medical Assistants in the event they are absent.

* Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available* We are looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baptist Primary Care South Hampton, located off 210 near Cimarrone and South Hampton. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM.
As the Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing assistance to physicians and maintain medical documentation. The primary responsibility of this Licensed Practical Nurse is assisting with phone triage and contacting patients.
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:
* Scheduling care and treatment
* Dagnostic tests
* Processing prescriptions
* Referrals
* Beginning IV Therapy
* Administering medicines
* Providing patient information

The Nurse Intern performs the following basic nursing procedures under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must maintain the flexibility necessary for rapidly changing assignments. Performs the functions of a Nurse Intern in carrying out all assignments given by the registered nurse with a minimum of continuous supervision. Is accountable to the nurses for all patient care he/she gives during a shift. Is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care and for promoting teamwork among co-workers.
Estimated pay range for this position is $23.50 / hour depending on shift as applicable.Qualifications Degrees:
High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in a nursing program (ADN or BSN), successful completion of medical surgical nursing course and clinical; Upon graduation of nursing program, must successfully pass the NCLEX within 90 days. Maximum length of time in role is 15 months.
