Baptist Medical Center is currently hiring for a Full-time Buyer II to join our Strategic Sourcing team at our Baptist Southbank Plaza Location here in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a Full-time opportunity, working 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
The Buyer II position will support a variety of projects across the Baptist Health network. This position requires knowledge of basic procurement and contracting processes and the ability to managing multiple priorities. Opportunity for 1-2 days of telecommute work is available following 90 days of employment and satisfactory completition of training.
Buyer II General Responsibilities:
* Input Capital Requisitions to confirm purchases are the current system standards, contracted pricing, requisitions completed correctly to flow through the ERP system.
* Process purchase orders and schedule deliveries
* Specify equipment for construction projects based on department needs and System standards.
* Maintain system equipment specifications
* Supports a variety of system projects by performing research and data management under the supervision of Sr. Buyer
* Performs other duties as assigned
