Required Education

Previous experience in a similar educational or instructional camp, space exploration role, or military setting is a strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements
The job involves substantial physical activity, such as walking and climbing (stairs, hills, ropes, ladders, poles, and wooded terrain) to reach simulators, ropes elements, and training areas. Extended periods of standing (4-6 hours or full shifts) are needed for instructing and operating simulators. Employees must be able to carry and lift items up to 50 lbs. waist-high and perform bending, kneeling, and reaching to handle supplies, operate equipment, and participate in camp activities. Visual acuity is essential for presenting lectures, conducting instructional tours, and engaging with guests and staff. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lifeguard is responsible for guarding the aquatic facility and/or aquatic activities to secure the safety of pool occupants and program participants. The Lifeguard will ensure a safe, fun area for children and adults to interact and enjoy. Must be available for weekday shifts, between 5 AM and 4 PM.
Our pools are open seven days a week, so staff are required to work at least one full shift a week. Additionally, all team members must be available to work one weekend shift a month to ensure fair coverage.

This person will maintain and file all 1099 tax information and audits, and processes corporate credit card charges. For this role, you must adhere to accounting, check printing, and IRS reporting deadlines.
This is a full-time position with expectations of being available Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm for meetings and require on-site activity in Dearborn for projects/meetings, etc.
Essential Responsibilities:
Match invoices with purchase orders and receivers (when applicable), assessing the reasonableness of budgets charged, and verifying compliance with organizational policies and 1099 tax laws
Enter vendor information, batches of invoices and credit memos into the accounts payable system, prints, receipts and closes purchases orders as necessary
Audits and verifies data entered and batch totals to a system generated report
Process weekly accounts payable checks and electronic fund transfer payments
Responsible for printing reports, checks, and EFT forms to match invoices to checks and prepares checks for mailing with CFO approval

Responds to internal (staff) and external (vendor) inquiries and creates reports/queries as needed
