Plant Sanitation OperatorThe Sanitation Operator is responsible for execution of the bottling facility sanitation procedures and standards. The primary focus of the Sanitation Operator is to insure the sanitation systems protect food safety and quality of our beverages. Job Description The Water Treatment Plant Operator will: * Ensure compliance with division's policies and procedures, standards of quality and safety, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations * Attend all required training and acquires CEUs to maintain Physical/Chemical Wastewater Operator license * Adhere to safety culture and follows procedures to ensure safe working environment * Report any safety hazards promptly that cannot be corrected or mitigated at individual level * Adjust biological, chemical and/or physical processes to ensure plant is operating properly * Troubleshoot the plant when there are operational upsets * Run control system in accordance with supervisory guidelines to achieve discharge quality and volume requirements * Assist with or directly performs in field maintenance as needed on pumps/valving/equipment * Perform shift inspections and reports aberrations promptly to supervision if unable to correct * Perform routine measurements and records results through spreadsheets and communicates via email * Use mobile equipment as necessary for transporting reagent totes/skids * Perform all other duties as may be assigned to meet organizational needs Physical Requirements: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see. * Must be able to work shift work with 12-hour shifts on a rotating day and night schedule. * Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday. * Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity. * Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
