To assist the driver in any way possible to make safe, accurate and expediate deliveries to the customers. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work area. Accompany driver on route to assist with delivery or the product to the customer.
At all stops get out of the truck and assist the driver while he is maneuvering the vehicle into a parked position.
Report to work with neat appearance including the company uniform.
Must always maintain a professional attitude and deliver excellent customer service.
Unload case groceries and totes that are hand stacked in the truck by using two-wheeler and ramp.
Check the invoice for refrigerated items and if necessary, climb into the front compartment of the trailer to retrieve these items for delivery.
Take the loaded two-wheeler into the store and leave the items in a predetermined area.
Load any damaged or returned items back into the truck for return to the warehouse.
Required to unload any damaged or returned items on return for unscheduled duty
Must be willing to occasionally perform Non-CDL deliveries or pickups as assigned.
Must be willing to be gone from home overnight and possibly two or three nights per week.
Required to attend safety meeting and other events as scheduled.
Immediately report all personal injury accidents.

Role Overview
As a Driver Helper, you ll be an essential part of our delivery team, ensuring safe and timely transportation of food products to customer locations. You ll assist the driver, maintain product integrity, and help create a positive customer experience.
What You ll Do
Assist drivers with loading, unloading, and delivering products
Spot drivers during tight maneuvers for safety
Verify product counts and ensure inventory accuracy
Communicate effectively with customers and resolve issues professionally
Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment
Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks
Report incidents promptly and follow all safety protocols
What We re Looking For
Ability to lift 25 80 lbs. regularly
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and varying weather conditions
Flexible schedule (overnight and weekends required)
Strong communication skills and team spirit
Reliable transportation
Minimum 1 year of driver helper experience
Must be 18 years or older
Physical & Safety Requirements
Quick response to sounds and visual cues
Ability to move safely in confined spaces or uneven terrain
Strong night vision and awareness of potential hazards
Delivery Schedule: Deliveries operations run 7 nights a week, your schedule will include five-night within that schedule.

Driver Helper Demands
-Lifting, bending, and moving for long hours
- Unloading company products
-Assisting drivers to find delivery locations
-Compiling accurate delivery records and reports
-Reporting all delivery-related problems to senior staff
-Effectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaints
-Liaising with the main office or the warehouse logistics team to notify the driver of any changes to daily routes
-Assisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift
-Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
-Delivery week: Sunday evening through Saturday morning

-Assures workplace safety getting out of truck and assisting with backing up from outside the truck, staying awake with Driver during trips, watching road and being another set of eyes on the road.
