About the Role
* Honest Networks is seeking FieldTechnicianInstallers who are enthusiastic about expanding our internet network services! As an Installer, your primary responsibility will be installing equipment, terminating connections, conducting tests, and troubleshooting various cabling for our residential customers. We cover metro regions in New York City, suburban neighborhoods like Westchester County, NY, and nearby cities like Jersey City, NJ, and Stamford, CT.
* This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where you will be responsible for independently completing up to 5 residential installations per day. As an Installer, it is essential to be comfortable and willing to utilize public transportation to commute to and from appointments within New York City and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
* Install networking equipment in customers' apartments, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
* Monitor network performance and promptly address and resolve connectivity issues to maintain optimal service.
* Provide knowledgeable guidance to customers on optimizing network performance and resolving basic connectivity issues or concerns.
* Ensure excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
* Collaborate with Honest's management and staff to resolve complex networking issues promptly.

Requirements
* 1-3 years of experience with fiber-optic installation, low-voltage wiring, splicing, or network maintenance
* Ability to conduct fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber strands
* Use OTDR and VFL to test and certify fiber lines

Job Description
The purpose of the FE4 position is to demonstrate proficiency in servicing equipment with advanced troubleshooting skills while applying excellent customer satisfaction skills. The FE4 will work on a manufacturer's entire black and white and color enabled machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend and pass manufacturers basic training classes.
Exercise and build proficiency in servicing equipment.
Learn complete assembly and disassembly procedures in the field or shop.
Develop ability to work independently.
Learn to logically troubleshoot machine problems utilizing all available resources.
Demonstrate proficiency in equipment cleanings and PMs.
To maintain, track and protect from damage all car stock and inventory that is issued.
Participate with other Technicians in field training.
Demonstrate acceptable verbal and written communication skills with customers and other employees.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and provide proof of minimum auto insurance coverage as required by state law.
Conforms to company guidelines on dress code and personal hygiene.
Maintain a safe vehicle with secure storage for parts.
Complete all types of paperwork accurately and legibly (timecards, equipment histories, service orders, etc.).
Learn and use communication systems with dispatch.
Read, be familiar with and maintain Field Engineering bulletins and servicing information.
Participate actively in the sales lead program.
Assist the sales force in accomplishing their goals through prompt and effective machine service and communication.
Learn and follow current procedures for return of parts and assemblies.
To act in a polite, professional manner that is beneficial to the reputation of Loffler Companies.
Responsible for understanding, staying updated on, and abiding by the Employee Handbook as written.

Allow sufficient travel time for arriving to work on time.

Technical Skills:

Education/Experience:

Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED required.
