The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for a System Engineer to support our Maryland Customer for cross domain solutions. Essential Job Functions:
Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.
Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area -Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.
Assist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue.
Assist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation.
Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Due to the nature of this position and the information employees will be able to access; US Citizenship is required.
Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Poly.
Level 1:
High School diploma with twelve (12) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity OR
Bachelor's degree with seven (7) years of experience. Education must be in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Level 2:
High School diploma with nineteen (19) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity OR
Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of experience. Education must be in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Three (3) years' experience with VMware architecture, Installation and configuration.
Three (3) years' experience with facilitating failover with VMotion
Three (3) years' experience with implementing rollback capability
Three (3) years' experience with VMware template library
Three (3) years' experience with Central Remote Management capability
Three (3) years' experience with configuration Management
Three (3) years' Experience with leveraging VMware's monitoring capability (VROPS…..etc.)
Level 3:
High School diploma with twenty-five (25) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity OR
Bachelor's degree with twenty (20) years of experience. Education must be in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years' experience with VMware architecture, Installation and configuration.
Five (5) years' experience with facilitating failover with VMotion.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
Level 1: $135,000 - $265,000
Level 2: $140,000 - $275,000
Level 3: $150,000 - $295,000
