The technician ensures all electrical components and systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations and company standards.
This onsite position will be working 1st shift daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, control panels, and industrial equipment.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
* Install, test, and commission new electrical systems and components.
* Maintain and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and documentation.
* Work with PLCs, VFDs, motors, relays, and other control systems.
* Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
* Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff to improve equipment reliability.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
* Monitor and record maintenance activities using CMMS
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
* Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.), VFDs, and industrial automation.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
* Good understanding of safety practices and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
* Basic mechanical skills are a plus.

+ **Maintenance Leadership:** Provide direction and technical support to maintenance technicians to ensure effective execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
+ **Backup Supervisor:** Supervise production in the event of supervisor planned absence
+ **Capacity Planning:** Support production planning and forecasting by analyzing capacity and resource requirements
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure alignment on improvement initiatives
+ **Technology Integration:** Evaluate and implement automation and advanced manufacturing technologies where applicable
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES:**
+ Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
+ Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
+ Experience with ERP and MES systems
+ Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles
+ Project management experience
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
+ 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering

This specialist will be accountable for maintaining and developing the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), ensuring the legal compliance requirements are fulfilled, driving environmental and sustainability improvements across the organization, and ensuring we are implementing the necessary changes needed to meet the company's Net Zero goals and that of our customers.
Primary Activities/Duties:
Maintain and develop the Environmental legal compliance requirements.
Maintain and support the ISO14001 management system.
Design and execute programs on energy and resource conservation that will reduce the impact on the environment.
Define and implement Environmental and Sustainability targets and ensure proper sustainability benchmarks are established.
Work with colleagues to develop the desired Environmental and Sustainability culture.
Liaise and manage external contractors (e.g., waste management), agencies, and local authorities.
Represent Rittal and our environmental sustainability efforts with customers and drive customer expectations throughout the organization.
Plan, organize, and complete Internal Environmental audits.
Provide Environmental and Sustainability training and education to all departments.

Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor's Degree required.
Must have at least 2 years of experience working in manufacturing sustainability.
Environmental and or Sustainability qualification would be of benefit e.g NEBOSH Environmental Certificate.
Experience in calculating Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emission data and initiating carbon reduction actions.
Experience in calculating product carbon footprints (PCF) and working with Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
Experience of working within a production/manufacturing environment (or equivalent).
Experience of working with customers, internal teams as well as external contractors, companies, and agencies.

Perform MIG welding operations to support the production schedule.
Weld base frames and other metal components according to specifications.
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.

Participate in weekly Rittal Production System (RPS) meetings.

Knowledge & Experience:

Stand at the weld station throughout the work shift.

Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing assignments and multitask effectively.
