Position Summary

Role Purpose

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for clinical care and provision of substance abuse services (group and individual) provided on site.
Assists in developing, organizing, and conducting programs to provide education for conditions and problems relating to drug and alcohol abuse.
Conducts or assists in individual and/or group counseling sessions and programs.
Observes and oversees adherence to all policies and procedures. Monitors violations and administers disciplinary action.
Provides support for substance abuse program activities including providing activity reports, reviewing the files of subordinates to ensure the accurate and timely documentation, and creating an environment which supports that mission of the program.
Oversees substance abuse counseling activities by facilitating and co-facilitating didactic educational presentations, group counseling, and individual counseling sessions.
Reviews and selects new instructional materials and programs for use in the substance abuse program.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, (Bachelors Degree preferred) and/or the equivalent of 3 years of previous chemical dependency treatment experience in addiction field.
Licensure: Maintains current counselor licensure or certification (CADAC/NADAC), as applicable, including First Aid and CPR training, valid California Drivers license and provides copies of all current certifications to the Facility.
Experience: Experience in addiction field preferred.
Knowledge/Abilities: Competent in individual, family, didactic and group therapy modalities. Assumes responsibility for own personal and professional growth. Keeps current via professional literature and stays up-to-date with professional techniques, theories and procedures. Observes the Facility personnel requirements contained in the policy and procedure manual.

Job Summary:
The successful Corporate Counsel candidate will be responsible for review, negotiation, and documentation of contract matters related to Compass Group USA, Inc. and its affiliates, with an emphasis on vending, coffee, commissary and food services. Candidate to be based in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Draft, negotiate and assist in the review of a broad range of commercial agreements including Master Service Agreements and RFPs.
* Implement contract strategies that optimize terms and conditions, reduce risk, and ensure favorable financial and operational outcomes.
* Work closely with legal teams for other lines of business, finance, and business development teams to ensure contracts support organizational goals and mitigate risks.
* Build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution and address issues as they arise.
* Provide sound legal advice and counsel to Managing Legal Counsel and to internal clients on strategies, actions and decisions related to all commercial transactions.
* Ability to manage assignments independently, communicate proactively with supervising counsel, and deliver complete, accurate work within agreed upon timelines.
Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience as a contracts attorney, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm with a focus on corporate law.
* Bachelors and Juris Doctor Degrees required, as well as a state bar license.
* Business background and/or international law background is a plus.
* Familiarity with the food service or distribution industry.
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
* Practical business-oriented approach and can-do attitude.
* Excellent problem-solving and strong organizational, presentation, analytical and drafting skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions.

**Job Summary:**
The successful Senior Corporate Counsel candidate will be part of the Company's Education ("Education") Client Contracting Team and will report to the VP, Deputy General Counsel - Education. Yum! Brands has an immediate need for a technology attorney who will partner closely with a dedicated team of engineers, architects and data scientists to solve complex problems and drive innovation, while minimizing risk to the enterprise. Specifically, s/he will provide strategic legal counsel and support to facilitate the delivery of critical digital and technology initiatives, including the deployment of our suite of AI-enabled restaurant technology products. This is a highly collaborative role that is ideal for an individual who is skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams spanning Yum! D&T, Yum! Corporate and our brands.
Education
This position requires a Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials.
Experience (and Other Qualifications)
Ideal candidates will have at least 3-5 years of prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. Candidates must be a member, licensed and in good standing, with a State Bar.
· Substantive knowledge of, and experience with, corporate/commercial transactions, including broad knowledge of corporate and contracts law (prefer experience with strategic and technology transactions)

Responsibilities
· Provide broad legal support to one or more client teams in Yum! D&T's Commercial Products vertical (e.g., Product, Engineering & Architecture, and Reliability & Engineering teams), Enterprise Technology vertical (e.g., AI and Data, IT Shared Services, Global Technology Risk Management, and Restaurant Technology Operations), and Support functions (e.g., Finance, Strategy and HR) on a diverse range of matters and issues associated with the development and deployment of Yum!-owned technology and services into restaurants around the globe
· Independently draft, negotiate and facilitate execution of strategically important SaaS, PaaS, cloud services, IT infrastructure, technology, license, and other commercial agreements tied to Yum! D&T's products, services, and strategy
· Partner with the Yum! Trademarks team to review, and obtain clearance for, trademarks associated with Yum! D&T's portfolio of products and services; advise Yum! D&T Product and Strategy teams on guardrails around usage, in line with broader business objectives and organizational risk tolerance
· Partner with Yum! Procurement to conduct request for proposals (RFPs) for products and services connected to the Yum! D&T suite of products and services
· Lead and/or participate on project teams and working groups associated with Yum!'s ambition to be the world's preeminent “digital franchisor”; participate in, and provide legal support for, other ad hoc projects, as assigned
· Develop and maintain expertise in areas of the law impacting Yum! D&T's products, services and strategy, including those around data privacy, AI, intellectual property, technology and commercial contracts
Working Relationships
Directly advises key members of the Yum! D&T Leadership Team and their direct reports. Interacts with all levels within the Yum! Corporate and Brand Legal Departments, including attorneys and paralegals. Manages outside legal counsel. Interacts with third party vendors, counsel and franchise partners.
