Your Opportunity as a Layer Pick Operator Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal), safely and accurately complete assigned duties, and maintain GMP standards. Duties include daily order picking, loading, and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack. Maintain receiving/shipping logs and make sure that incoming and outgoing products and materials are in good condition. Move raw and packaging materials to the production area using the FEFO standard. In addition, the worker maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse. Workers are required to lift to 50 pounds, walk or stand for most of the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily order picking by operating equipment and mobilizing product within designated locations.
Utilizing a radio frequency device.
Maintaining accurate inventory through accurate scanning and product placement.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Primary responsibility will be dedicated to picking.
Moving material.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Meeting production standards on a daily basis.
Job Specifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) require
Experience using a RF Gun or WMS inventory tracking system by handheld.
Must pass the forklift certification training program.
Must pass a forklift written test and practical assessment.
Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents.
Proven history of good attendance.
Capability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions with diverse employees.
A willingness to flow to work to meet the needs of the business.
Possess basic math skills, addition, and subtraction.

The Process Support Employee (Operations Technician) is responsible for the effective operation, repair and changeovers of production equipment. The primary accountabilities of the role include safety compliance, daily production, quality and sanitization procedures, equipment maintenance procedures, data collection, housekeeping, problem solving and continuous improvement as part of a work team. + Monitors quality sampling when taken by a cobot or robot. Where sampling is not automated, take samples manually and documents as required. Reacts appropriately to ensure Quality compliance of product.
+ Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting, completes autonomous maintenance activities and performs simple repairs on production equipment.
+ Performs Sanitation activities as per established protocol and conducts/participates in area housekeeping assessments per requirement.

The **Maintenance Technician** will be responsible for the support of production lines, equipment, and the facility. Your Opportunity as an Operations Management Intern
As an intern within our Operations Management team, you'll be a working part of our Plant Logistics team and understand how large-scale operations and logistics teams function in unison. You will have the opportunity to learn how our supply chain operates- from procurement of raw materials all the way through shipping finished goods out to customers. This internship will be a real-life display of not only manufacturing but will also get a front row seat to how all supply chain roles in the enterprise work together to meet the same end goal.
Location: Edgerton, KS
Work Arrangements: 100% On site
In this role you will:
Reconcile inventory transactions, file shipment documentation, and provide support in daily shipment activities.
Support audit requirements as needed by pulling documentation and assist with any corrective actions.
Act as single point of contact for setting daily dock appointments inbound raw materials.
Record raw material receipts in Oracle (purchasing) System as needed to ensure prompt payment.
Create and oversee process for central filing location of certificate of analysis documentation.
Assist the plant procurement team in reviewing daily Material Requirements Reports (MRP) and issuing purchase orders to replenish inventory.
Support an improvement project identified during the co-op term with a final report-out to leadership at the conclusion of the rotation.
Support Logistics team with special projects as needed.
Support Safety and Quality initiatives.
Exposure to many different supply chain and operations computer-based systems.
What we are looking for:
A Sophomore or higher with requisite educational experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or another relevant field
A well-rounded skill set including computer and analytics experience, adaptability, creative problem solving and effective communication

You will perform/own the design, implementation, testing, and startup of Process Control Systems for our clients using DeltaV. You will work with customers, other engineers, and project managers at Emerson.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Lead or Work on a project team responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control strategies.
+ Plan, coordinate and review the work of other project team members (or a subset of the team).
+ Work with customer's process engineers to develop functional requirements.
+ Lead and Participate in the start-up of complex systems at the client facility.
+ Understand the project scope and financials; identify change orders and justify changes to Project Management.
+ Proactively develop customer relationships; anticipate and provide solutions to customer needs giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
+ Act as a mentor for individuals within the engineering organization.
**Who You Are:**
You optimally communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond their expectations. You follow through on your commitments gaining confidence of others in your abilities. You deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes and lead a group of engineers.
**For This Role You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering or associates degree/diploma in a technical discipline
+ Minimum 7 years of experience with bachelor's degree or 8 years of experience with 2-year degree
+ At least 5 years' experience in Process Control Automation design, configuration, testing and startup using DeltaV
+ Must convey a professional image with and build relationships with customers
+ Must be comfortable in plant sites, and possess the ability to navigate staircases, ladders, scaffolding, and catwalks
+ Up to 50% travel - consisting of short term and long term assignments
+ Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Electrical Engineering preferred
+ Experience leading small to medium sized project teams
+ Design and implementation experience using the DeltaV process control system on Life Sciences projects
+ Experience leading/working on complex batch process control projects in the Life Sciences Industry using DeltaV; designing, implementing and testing control strategies and providing startup support at site.
