Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

General Description
This is a comprehensive position that will assist in multiple areas of the dietary department, including food preparation and food serving. Prepares and cooks regular and specialized meals for residents and employees of institution.
Assist Chef with food ordering and putting away of food and supply deliveries.
Cooks food in quantities according to the menu and number of persons to be served.
Required to serve meals and direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
Prepare various foods in accordance with menu created by the chef and dietitians, for each meal of the day.
Wash, peel, cut and seed vegetables and fruit.
Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry and seafood.

Job Requirements:
