GENERAL SUMMARY: Operates all MRI Scanners for the purpose of performing diagnostic exams according to physician orders. Insures the safe and efficient flow of patients in this area. Ensures complete and accurate data entry in the RIS and PACS systems.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
MRI Certification preferred. Technologists may apply as registry eligible but have 12 months in which to attain registered status.
Two years' experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
Breast imaging experience is preferred.
SHIFT: Full-Time, Evening Shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Weekend & on-call work is not required.
Salary Range: Minimum 42.66/hour - Maximum 70.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

Pathologists Assistant Job Responsibilities
Performs special procedures such as coronary artery perfusion studies, central nervous system perfusion studies and enucleations.
Assists in the organization and coordination of anatomic pathology conferences and attends departmental business meetings.
Obtains clinical history (e.g. scans, X-rays, laboratory data, etc.) as indicated after consulting with the Pathologist.
Under the direction of a Pathologist, cuts and stains frozen section tissue adequately for proper diagnosis.

Pathologist Job Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Pathologist, responsibilities would include help with Laboratory regulatory compliance, validations, process improvements, and quality initiatives along with participation in the appropriate intra- and extradepartmental committees as a section medical director.
Pathologist should possess strong overall diagnostic and communicative skills with the ability to handle clinical and surgical (if appropriate) pathology sign out of an active pathology service (Peripheral smears, electrophoresis, body fluids, etc.) and have interest and ability in overseeing daily clinical laboratory duties, such as apheresis, blood bank, hematology, and chemistry.
Pathologists can participate in centralized slide distribution and evenly share cases across the system which enables subspecialty sign out of cases within the pathologist's preferred subspecialties if applicable (Hematopathology, etc.).
No Autopsy Coverage
On-call duties include blood bank calls, apheresis and other consults from the clinical laboratory.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Doctorate Program (MD/DO)
Board Certification: Clinical Pathology - CP
Fellowship training: In area of Clinical Pathology or Hematopathology
Certification: Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training; BLS from the American Heart Association
Licensure: Currently hold or ability to obtain an unrestricted VA medical licensure
Credentialing: Ability to obtain successful medical staff credentials throughout all of our Inova pathology locations
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of previous experience and any section leadership or medical director experience
Board Certification: Anatomic and Clinical Pathology - AP/CP

Exercise Physiologist Job Responsibilities:
Develops exercise prescription and risk factor modification by incorporating comorbidity and musculoskeletal disorders, per established program (ACCVPR, ACSM, ATS, ACC, NASM) standards and guidelines, as evidenced by random chart review.
Reviews Individual Treatment Plans.
Develops exercise and strength training programs, patient education and behavioral health support specific to each patient to achieve optimal outcomes for each patient.
Demonstrates proper instruction and technique for performing appropriate exercise and strength training as needed to ensure patient safety and adherence to exercise prescription, as evidenced by direct observation.
Immediately reports significant changes in patient clinical status to appropriate members of healthcare team and assists with emergency care according to department policy, as evidenced by direct observation.
Supports additional projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or Kinesiology.
BLS within 6 months of start date. Must be from the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION.
American College of Sports Medicine - Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM CEP) required upon start for Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab Programs. Or Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (AACVPR CCRP)
Patient focused approach to patient well-being and recovery
Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative innovative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as an Excise Physiologist in a Hospital Setting
Internship experience in a Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab setting
