The Project Manager pay rates are anticipated to be Salaried and will be based on each candidates experience and education. Overtime is paid at Straight Time OT rates over 40 hours. Candidates will possess most (if not all) of the following:
5+ years of experience in Project Management of Capital Equipment Projects - Powertrain or Engine Assembly, BIW, automation equipment, material handling, conveyors, robotics, etc.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study preferred.
Experienced with MS Project, knowledgeable with SolidWorks or other CAD packages.
Requires the ability to plan, schedule, coordinate schedules, create/track budgets, labor management, status reports, update projects, change orders, closeout.
20% travel, mostly in Michigan and Ohio. Passport required for occasional travel to Canada or Mexico based on project needs.
Ability to work directly with customers, engineers, designers, contractors, guide teams and communicate with customers on technical matters (punch-list & closeout).
Must be able to work in the United States (No H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)
Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.

The Project Manager pay rates are anticipated to be hourly based on each candidates experience and education. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Candidates will possess most (if not all) of the following:
3+ years of experience in automation design - Powertrain, BIW, automation equipment, material handling, conveyors, robotics, etc.
BS / AAS in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study preferred.
Proficient in NX or SolidWorks (preferred), other CAD packages are acceptable.
Requires the ability to Plan, Schedule, Coordinate Schedules, create/track budgets, labor management, status reports, update projects, change orders, closeout.
35-40% travel, mostly in Michigan and Ohio, potentially Mexico, passport required; occasional travel to Canada or Mexico based on project needs.
Willingness to work 50-55 hours/week during peak workloads

* Using common industry practices (requests for proposal, interviews, and evaluation) to qualify and contract with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other vendors for the design and execution of each project.
* Engage and maintain working relationships with building representatives and (as needed) jurisdictional authorities.
* Coordinate all resources toward the effective, timely completion of projects according to lease timelines and budget estimates.
* Proactively assemble and communicate information on project scope, schedule, and budget using concise language and standard tools (Microsoft 365, Bluebeam Revu, etc.).
* Assist in advancing processes and design guidelines to continuously improve project outcomes and workplace experience.
* Maintain timely processing of invoicing and reimbursement of tenant improvement allowances.
* Grow versatility and knowledge of trends and emerging practices through involvement in professional organization(s).
* Develop and maintain space utilization data to support space planning.
* Lead safety and security initiatives and process.
* Manage physical security including access control systems, associate security cards, and contracted security personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports and/or leads projects improving workflows and processes
Collects and analyzes data to evaluate operational processes; provides recommendations to secure improvement(s).
Leads research regarding modern technologies and/or vendor options that leverage automation solutions to improve productivity.
Develops and/or ensures the development of action plans and specifications related to organizational and/or process improvement recommendations.
Prepares cost/benefit analysis that relates to organizational and/or process improvement recommendations.
Ensures compliance of quality assurance processes with appropriate First Acceptance, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Coordinate with the senior claims management in setting the strategic direction for the claims organization to achieve performance improvements.
Leads the team involved with system enhancements and/or changes related to claims processes, and coordinates with IT.
Synchronizes with other functional areas to secure input on their needs and/or determines the implications of claims process changes in their areas.
As may be required, manages communications throughout First Acceptance that relate to claims processes and initiatives.
Vision Communication: In collaboration with Product Owners, work to articulate and communicate a clear, strategic vision for the product.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Assignment may require an adjuster license and/or the ability to obtain adjuster licenses in all applicable states.
Prefer designation as an insurance professional (including but not limited to AIC, CPCU, SCLA).
PMP certification is not required, but strong consideration is given
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Leadership experience and/or demonstrated ability to lead people.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and/or prioritization abilities.
