The Production Operator assists various areas within the plant while maintaining efficient production processes according to GMP and customer specifications.

JOB DUTIES:
Work in various areas of production workflow including all tasks and appropriate documentation of the following:
Dumping / Grinding / Processing
Packaging / Finishing
Assist in ensuring fundamental food safety and quality practices are maintained to achieve food safety and quality objectives and to support ongoing improvements of food safety programs.
Operate forklifts and /or non-motorized pallet jacks as required.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment. Perform basic maintenance and clean-up activities as follows:
Proper storage and care of equipment used during production in accordance with the company safety guidelines and regulations.
Regularly sweep and occasionally hose production and other areas.

Ability to follow written/verbal instruction and communicate effectively with personnel
General and specific knowledge of machinery and ability to assist in preparing equipment for operation and/or tear down production operations.

Sustained physical effort required to move throughout work areas, climbing steps, ladders as required, and walking around equipment.
Must be able to distinguish if food safety violations or product quality issues occur and resolve immediately or, if unable to resolve immediately, contact appropriate plant management (i.e. the Production Supervisor and/or the QC Manager).
Knowledge and ability to:
Learn how to operate new equipment/machinery
Read gauges and record data in legible manner in accordance with established procedures

The Machine Operator (Orbital Welding) is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining orbital welding equipment to produce high-quality welds on tubing, piping, and related components. This role ensures compliance with engineering drawings, welding procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures.
Knowledge of stainless-steel tubing/piping and basic welding principles.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic inspection tools.
Experience with calipers, micrometers, and ability to read a tape measure
Preferred: Welding certifications or experience in high purity/regulated industries.

Monday-Friday, 7AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Flexo Folder Gluer machine to produce quality corrugated packaging products.
Set up and adjust ensure accurate cutting, printing, and slotting according to job specifications.
Perform quality checks, including measurements, color registration, and box integrity, to meet or exceed standards.
Troubleshoot machine issues, perform basic maintenance, and communicate with maintenance personnel as needed.
Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and minimize downtime.
Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Complete production documentation accurately and timely.
Assist with training new team members as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating Flexo Folder Gluer or other converting machines in the corrugated industry (McKinley experience a plus).
Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices.
Familiarity with print registration, die-cutting, and box styles is highly desirable.
Ability to read production work orders, safety instructions, and machine manuals.
Proficient in basic math and measurements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical training or coursework in industrial manufacturing or machine operation is a plus.
Proven track record of consistent attendance and strong work ethic in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands
