The Senior Scheduler will maintain close working relationships with the Project Team to ensure that they meet or exceed Project Controls standards. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to directly interface with the estimating, design, and construction teams to ensure the accurate life cycle of quantity, cost, and schedule management from original estimate through project completion.
Responsibilities
* Prepares Critical Path Method (CPM) scenarios for management consideration and incorporates final approach into a complete CPM schedule
* Accumulate and access historical and forecast data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting.
* Develop an understanding of project scopes and contracts.
* Communicates with Owner to assure customer satisfaction or implements corrective action when needed
* Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to identify and mitigate project risk.
* Ensures that project teams are aware of and properly responds to risks relative to schedule and delay
* Provides oversight and notifications to management of any concerns regarding contract notice, delay, and proper documentation of project schedules
* Participates in project pursuits and prepares fee proposals, RFP responses, presentation content, etc.
* Accurately documents schedule basis in narrative identifying critical assumptions for internal use, GMP's and Owner documentation
* Conducts monthly schedule project audits
* Develops or assists in training Project Managers and Superintendents on how to schedule and use scheduling software to manage work in the field

The Energy Marshall requires many different roles with specific duties to manage the commissioning process during construction from pre-energization through project completion and turn over.
Managing electrical room access permits and electrical room attendance.
Ensure compliance with safe work practices during energization and isolation activities.
Responsible for verifying the commission plan and reviewing quality reports.
Complete any pre-energization inspections.
Responsible for the LOTO program on site.
Review and audit energy isolation procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for energy isolation practices and provide guidance to teams.
Attends daily and weekly High Risk Activity (HRA) / Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Meetings and provides procedure preparation support associated with Energy Isolation
Partner with project teams to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Communicate complex technical solutions and energy-related concepts to both engineers and non-engineers.
Audit site practices against established standards as part of the safety assurance role.
Interpret line drawings and system redundancies to ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems are designed and implemented effectively and in compliance with standards.
Provide expert guidance on energy isolation in environments with multiple energy sources, with a particular focus on electrical systems.
Serves as an independent authority for stopping all unsafe work practices regarding Energy Isolation.
7+ years commercial construction experience preferred
Participating in Weekly Safety Meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy isolation, safety, or a related field.
NFPA 70E Certification.
Experience with DC construction and commissioning standards and practices.
Ability to understand and ensure the safe installation of electrical equipment across various voltages, including AC and DC systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams to drive process improvements.
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
Proficiency in auditing site practices against written standards.
Familiarity with multiple energy sources, particularly in data centers, with an emphasis on electrical systems.
